That half-volley

Novak finally gets his gold medal and thoroughly deserved.
He’s truly won everything there is to win.
Holy crap Casper this is just not serious
Feels a bit like the gruelling summer caught up with Alcaraz last night, it doesn't take much of a drop off from 100% before those sorts of games become very difficult.Just seen Alcaraz lost in straight sets overnight
Gives Draper a much better chance at making the 2nd week now
Draper has looked very comfortable so far making his way to the quarters for the first time but for some reason I still don't see him beating De Minaur. Not sure what it is as I really like Draper but he's not quite at that top top level yet.Have to admit I'm loving this US Open and some of these upcoming match-ups. Kind of glad Alcaraz and Djokovic aren't in the picture, makes it a little bit more interesting.

Two good matchups tonight. Fritz has looked decent but still fancy Zverev to have the edge. But I've got no idea how the other QF is going to go. Both Dimitrov & Tiafoe can hit high levels but equally both can throw in a few errors when the pressure is on. Going to be such a 'vibes' game, esp under the lights. think the crowd may lift Tiafoe over the line but Dimitrov is far more consistent lately than he has been over the last few years.
