Always thought Whiteman was older than Austin for some reason but both 20. Who do people rate higher ? Just my feeling Austin has a higher ceiling. And I guess unless we pick up a free they are now 3rd GK.

Disappointing Tanganga didnt get a championship loan, Hopefully weve got a top european league loan in sight. A league one loan would be pathetic.

Maybe Poch would like to give him play time in the domestic cup games knowing that Toby will be gone next summer.

If he does well , we might save transfer funds for other areas in the next 1 or 2 windows.

Likewise, I think Parrott would also be handled in the same way.

Parrot has more chance but i cant see it with Tanganga, he will be 6th choice realistically, so he wont get a chance in the cups because the 5 infront of him will be in a rotation (Dier is likley to get CB minutes ahead of him).

Would be much more beneficial to get 20-30 games under his belt else where (as long as its the right kind of team)

The Under-16s are in Riga, Latvia for a pre-season tournament. They beat an unknown opposition 4-1 this morning, with Dante Cassanova scoring 2 and assisting 1. I would’ve assumed this was the Riga Cup, but I can’t find a record of it anywhere.

Dante Cassanova?! You've got to be good (or quick) with a name like that. Love it.

In the second game of the Independence Cup, our Under-16s drew 0-0 with Cassanova hitting the bar. He also seemed to be very annoyed at the referee.

Parrott White both still appear to be training with seniors. Also somehow Georgiou still is.

I’m hoping to see some of the guys like Tanganga, Oakley-Booth, Roles etc get loans to Germany or Holland if they are not going to be used in the first team so much. Don’t want them just playing U23 football.

On Georgiou, I do wonder if he could take the Rose path and convert to left back. Seems athletic and tenacious enough. Perhaps lacks that extra attacking edge to be a top level attacker, but has enough skills to become a productive LB with the right support.

Roles had a slight groin issue but should have got a loan/ could still get a loan. I think Poch will go the Winks/Skipp route with Tanganga's development. Tanganga learning from Toby in what is likely his last season and maybe even Vertonghens would be beneficial. Can definitely see him getting some cup minutes and closing out some PL games.
