Sounds like England U18s lost to Spain in final of Slovakian cup on penalties . Think Bennett and binks both started .

today should be a wake-up call for kwp. england u21 squad announced for the euros and he's not in it despite being in practically every other squad for the past four years. no onomah either though i think he's injured again.

Ouch. I think we need a new RB but we should bin Trippier and Aurier so KWP starts at least like 20 games.

Big test for Boothroyd. I’m sure most people had their doubts when he got the under 21 job. Pity Sancho got in the full team as he would have improved the att@cking players. Some real top players in the midfield.
Not that impressed with the forwards. Solanke done nothing at Bournemouth..hardly played.
This tournament is where we usually fall down as the other teams have far more top class games under their belt.
Seems that our recent youth failures have gone unreported. Well beaten in under 17 euros, failed to qualify for the current under 20 World Cup .

Ridiculous from Boothroyd. What's the point of playing KWP for four years, watch him do well, just to drop him when it matters?

I assume mainly because no one has any real interest unless we're winning. Both results are fairly easy to explain. The u17s missed a lot of players it appears due of registration issues which is a fault of the FA I imagine. Similarly happened last year. The highly rated u19s team, lost players from the age group, and had others come in and lost some stability. I can't remember how the actual games went now, but they should have qualified still but the changes didn't help

So we've heard that Onomah is being approached by Sheffield Wednesday and Ogilvie has already gone. Are we likely to see any more "older" youth players leave?

Suppose we can’t expect to turn out a Sancho..Hudson Odoi and Foden every year. Those 3 absolutely stood out at the under17 World Cup .

I think Harrison is definitely going to leave. Dylan Duncan has been released. Glover has been released. Common sense suggests that Charlie Freeman will be leaving, he's been here for three years and probably played a total of 120 minutes of football. It looks very much like Jack Roles is offski. I could be wrong but isn't Tanganga out of contract. Georgiou and Amos are turning 23 in February and thus no longer free squad picks. Marcus Edwards turns 22 in December and is in the last year of his contract. I'd imagine the chances of him renewing are beyond remote and so this is really our last window to get anything for him.

I'm expecting (alongside Duncan & Glover) that Shayon Harrison, Charlie Freeman, Jack Roles, Japhet Tanganga, Shilow Tracey, Marcus Edwards, Luke Amos and Anthony Georgiou will be leaving this summer.

marcus will be 21 in december, still think there's time for him yet but will depend on what he and the club feel is best for him this summer. not sure amos will leave, he might go on loan but i imagine the club will stand by him after he effectively lost a season through injury and with tracey still having another year left on his deal i can't see why he'd go, nor why any club would buy him.

Edwards put up a weird tweet then deleted it about a minute later. Was a gif with a clock and hands going backwards.
