I know a little bit about the Roles situation but I can't say everything - the contract is up in the summer until about a month ago the situation was unchanged - there has been some interest from another club but a lot depends on them winning promotion that will now be through the play offs if at all - training and impressions made are almost as important as game time
I can't say anymore on a public forum we shall see

My initial thought was Derby.

Frank Lampard knows a thing or two about scoring goals from midfield.

No one said he was a starter, but a regular.

If Kane, hadn't become a starter:whistle: for those last 6 games and scored 3 goals, he wouldn't be given a chance to be a 3rd striker. Plus it puts pressure on the new manager when the academy player has 3 goals in 6 starts whilst the first choice striker in the same season had 6 goals in 22 starts
Sure and a lot of things broke his way for Poch to give him a go. I genuinely wonder how long it would have taken if we had been in the Champions League instead of the Europa League where Kane was outplaying Soldado and Adebayor.

That said I just think this whole narrative around Poch not playing youth or improving players by using statistics like Redknapp giving them starts - when he was really just throwing bodies in there to make a statement to Levy or trying to essentially get out of a cup competition or Sherwood doing whatever the hell he was doing is completely misleading. Players like Kane, Winks, Bentaleb, Rose, etc. all massively improved under Poch whether he gave them their "starts" or if they played some games under Sherwood at the end of an absolutely nothing season.

Anyone heard anything regarding Amos. I heard he was running outside again. What was the injury again and do we expect him to be able to return at the same level ?

Also I find our CB situation a bit confusing we seem to have quite a few with potential but I really have no idea how they rank alongside each other. Could anyone put them in order from most likely to least. From Ccv tanganga eyoma dinzey Binks Walcott blf I’ve probably forgotten a couple as well.

So with confirmation that Parker & Wells have been hired on at Fulham on a fulltime basis as Head coach and 1st team coach respectively, I wouldn't be surprised to see some youth players heading over there in the summer. I can see Roles and Onomah on permanent deals while Edwards on loan to Fulham would be a great opportunity to build on his eredivisie experience.

I doubt we will actually. We don't know what the Fulham board's expectations are yet but I guess coming back up will be the target. If that is the case then they'll be recruiting from a better pool of players than our U23's, nothing against our U23s but I'd be shocked if a promotion chasing Championship side signed any of them. Not saying it won't happen but I think people are adding 2 and 2 and getting 5.

The Fulham board won't be sanctioning any significant money for transfers, so the scouting department and coaches will have to rely on any working relationships with other teams to get good deals for players. They'll probably see a fair bit of player movement as the likes of Seri, Mitrovic & Anguissa have been reported as having relegation release clauses and loan signings such as Schurrle, Vietto, Fosu- Mensah, Chambers and Sergio Rico are set to go back to their parent clubs. When you add all those factors and consider that Parker & Wells recently left their coaching gigs with us, giving Spurs a call and asking which players are available does make the most the sense IMO.

Very different characters. Very, very different characters.

I am not talking about character. From the little I know of Parrott he seem a bit injury prone (but I may be wrong). Terry Dixon was a huge talent but his career was ruined by injuries.

Troy Parrott today

I hope he does not end up like Terry Dixon.

Very different characters. Very, very different characters.

The Parrott photo was posted on his twitter today, but was taken 9th March.

It was a "come on lads" for Ireland's U17 tie with Belgium.

He did got stretchered off for our U23s on the 30th April, but scans showed he was ok, tweeting:

"Very important win last night, the boys were excellent, thankfully the x-Ray went well and there’s no broken bones, thank you to everyone for the messages, I’ll be back soon."

it was a shocking challenge on him, very lucky to not come away with a broken ankle. i can't remember what his other injury was but i don't think two injuries(one of which was unavoidable) is enough to say he might be injury prone.
