Troy Parrott is making waves for Tottenham but just over a decade ago another teenager was set to be the club's next superstar with the world at his feet. When Terry Dixon stepped through the doors at Hotspur Way last week he realised that plenty had changed at the football club he loves.

Yes he would have been something special, I hope he becomes a coach at spurs one day.

Really good article. Remember the hype that surrounded him. Such a shame but seems extremely level headed now.

I went to see him (Dixon) once upon a time in a youth game, absolute gem of a footballer but a disgrace of a human being. He spent half the game showing his mecurial talents and the other half screaming obscenities at the ref and trying to start fights with anyone who would listen.

Hopefully Parrot has a little more class about him.
