The journalist itk guy was saying last window that levy was dead set on getting pato in. said it was his mission or something along them lines. Good player but is injured alot.

Yup, the journo has this spot on. Gonna be a triple unveiling - Pato, Huntelaar and Farfan.

Yeah, I think his injuries have maybe affected his ability slightly and also taken the spotlight off him a bit which, in turn, has most likely affected his price. Its not that long ago he was being linked with Chelski for a reported £50m

This is one of the things that happened while it was closed.

Earlier today in ITK Daily, somebody post ITK from Fighting Cock about the Crown Price of Brunei being shown around WHL.
Then around 6PM your time Daniel Gardiner came on Twitter. Daniel is Gards44, who emerged last night as a possible ITK from Twitter. We're not sure yet, so anything he says isn't verified and needs much salt.

@Gards44
Heard Some Extremely Exciting News last night! Unreal!!! #Thfc

This started a massive storm on Twitter and he responded to well over 20 question

one about why he posted
@Gards44
to let spurs fans know things are happening and not to be to despondent at lack of activity! :)

on what
@Gards44
happening without mentioning the news as I was told in confidence!!

and on when (by me)
‏@HappySpur
@Gards44 While I respect that you can't post details, do you have an idea of a time frame when something might happen?

@Gards44
@HappySpur On this in all honesty No, but there r reasons!

Fair enough. Nothing to walk away from the Olympics for, but then I decided to be a bit of a douche, and posted a rather lame joke

‏@HappySpur
#thfc Crown Prince of Brunei = lockdown #guessing

Now, I didn't realize Akqa followed me, so I was a bit surprised when this came back
@akqayid
@HappySpur Suusssssshhhhhhhh (whisper it)

another bad joke
‏@HappySpur
@akqayid #ITK I haz it!!! :)

@akqayid
@HappySpur saying nothing

That led to Akqa's post in Daily ITK. So these are the kind of things we miss when we shut this down .

With respect gentlemen, you're missing HappySpur's point.

You may consider what was missed to be inconsequential, and you may be right. So would you rather have a closed thread with nothing to see, or an open thread where tweets are posted that concern Spurs? If the former, the solution is simple: don't view the thread. Then you won't be tempted to make comments that piss off A&C and get it closed for those of us who might like to see it.

Just commenting on the Pato news.........he wont be leaving Milan......he's tied up with the chairman's daughter and she is having their baby soon (or might have already). Wont be leaving there for awhile.

Will they loosen the ropes when she goes into labour?

News about M'Vila to Spurs going about on Twitter. Possibly based on this Metro article from about an hour ago...

http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/907401-yann-mvila-eyed-for-spurs-transfer-after-arsenal-end-interest

Although a good player that he is, he is certainly not required.

I'd be very pissed off if time, money and effort is being used in trying to bring him in when there are more pressing matters.

Like a striker that we've been looking for, for 8 windows.

Well that would be a real turn up for the books but our interest in him does perhaps raise more questions than answers.

Maybe he would take Parker's place in the team and sit deep with Sando to let Sigurdsson, Rafa and Bale to ply a more expansive game in front?

I would be surprised if we firmed up our interest in him but then stranger things have happened.

While I love M'Vila's talent and what he brings to the table, I love what we have here more in terms of the defending option in midfield.
