Right, here's a brand new thread for the discussion of Spurs related Tweets. That's Tweets, not formations, not wether or not Levy will back AVB, not spending over the last few transfer windows, just the Tweets.
There's also been widespread ignoring of the no ITK bashing rule. That's our fault because we've let it slide but that stops right now. You aren't going to believe how fast you'll lose your access if it continues. I'm sorry to have to get Nazi over it, but warnings aren't working. In fact, despite being asked time after time to keep this to Tweet related guff/stop bashing/etc etc, it just continues.
From now on, i'll be watching this thread more closely. Bash ITK and you're out and if this thread starts to become too much work, we'll just lose it and go back to doing without it. And believe me, doing that will give me the horn. A great big, massive horn.
I WANT to do it, i'm gagging to do it and the delicious thing is, you lot are going to give me that on a plate. (Insert evil laugh here)

I give it until lunchtime. And I'd rate my own post as optimistic...

So what's the craic with #lockdown?

Have the club decided enough is enough, any more leaking stories and there'll be consequences?

It'd be shit for sc, but makes sense I suppose.

I can see a fair few suicides if ITK dries up and we still haven't signed a striker by the Newcastle game.

OK, lets get this back OT.

Spurvert has been quite active on Twitter over the last couple of hours:
Work has been done on a transfer for Damiao to Spurs this summer and AVB likes him a lot. Hopefully it's the time for this to happen
My opinion is still Adebayor and Damiao
AVB can't see past Moutinho once Modric goes

Opinion is probably the key word there, although I can certainly see that we have interest in Damiao still and hopefully AVB is more keen to push this through than redders.

Like spurverts latest info, hope it has some legs, though half of it may be opinion

Well done mate, good way to kick start this thread, I fully agree with leandro, think we've certainly put the groundwork in, undecided and ade, still think there may be a name from under the ITK radar

Perhaps securing another striker first will move the ade deal forward, then we won't be so desperate and city may get worried

with damiao, this is definitely the window or just forget him forever. Obviously HR took ages making up his mind, LD was never sure about us and Inter just kept moving the goalposts anyway. I've always thought we could get him if we went after him hard and hopefully with both DL and AVB on the same wavelength now, there's a chance he'll come.

Damiao requires a complete flip-flop on his and Inter's part; Moutinho simply needs Real to cough up for Modders and Levy to agree to hand the loot straight to Porto.

If we bought Damiao he would cost about £15m and about 70k wages so would still give us plenty in reserve for Ade or another striker. Seems like the perfect purchase for us. Let's hope he has enjoyed his time in London!

My feeling is that we are wasting our time chasing Leandro and Moutinho.

According to reports Leandro is not too keen on joining us and Porto will not sell Moutinho for peanuts. Levy playing cat and mouse with Porto's president until 31st August will not end well for us.

The clock is ticking. I sincerely hope we have a Plan B.

Moutinho just won't happen for what Porto value him at so whilst I don't doubt AVB rates him highly, I just can't see Levy sanctioning a record breaking deal for him when there are cheaper alternatives who may prove just as effective in Dembele and Allen.

Adebayor still seems plausible but I can see that running until the end of the transfer window and as for Leandro, well, i'll be astonished if we manage to agree a fee with Inter, let alone agree personal terms with Leandro himself!

Sceptical to say the least.

Much as I would like Leandro at Spurs I can't see it happening

1) Can't see them selling both of their star players in one summer
2) They don't need the money as they sold oscar
3) Leandro has never exactly done cartwheels at the prospect of joining us
4) their president is just as hard bargainer as levy

Maybe clutching at straws, but one advantage over previous windows is that we now have a Portugese speaking manager, which one would hope would be a plus in the players eyes
