I think we need fullbacks regardless of the system we will use. The ones we have a just not good enough

Oh definitely, Davies and potentially Foyth are the only two that I think are good enough to be in our squad but we need 2 first team full backs while Foyth develops, and Davies is extremely underrated but will never be world class.

However Davies is good enough for the LB position for now, it's RB where we are desperate for some new quality.

Think you misread my post, I think both Bruno and Dias are definitely on our list of targets, its the old Mourinho players who I think are just linked to fill the lines/pages.

Dias would be a fantastic addition to our back line.

You're right sorry, I did misread your post.

We don't need any of those players.
We need fullbacks (specially RB) and a DM (Dier is not good enough imo)
Although I agree that fullbacks and a DM are the priority, we do need a CB and Dias would be perfect. Verts and Toby will more than likely leave next summer. Then we have Sanchez (still young but questions regarding whether he is good enough), Foyth (I like him a lot) and Tanganga (still very young).

Even if one of the Belgium's were to stay, we would have Toby/Verts, Sanchez, Foyth and Tanganga. Now I'm sorry but that 4 isn't good enough to get us to where we want to be.

I imagine it is absolute nonsense. Hercules has given us ITK which stated that he will be backed early in the Summer Window so that he has his players in before pre-season (yes, we have heard it all before but Jose would walk if Levy doesn't keep his word). But, I imagine there will 100% be money for Jose in January if he identifies any players and Levy really needs us in the Champions League so if a player or two help towards getting us there, it will be a no brainer.

There's no need for him right now. We can get him next summer.

We do need FBs and DM right now. So I'd put all the money we have available to solve those positions asap. RB should've been solved last window imo

RB should have been solved 2 years ago when Aurier was bought instead of Pereira

No way s Ben Davies good enough for a top four club, dreadful player
We've had the same 2 LBs since as long as I can remember it feels... who came before Davies? There was Assou-Ekotto and Zeki Fryers as a back up. Was that it?

I’ve always had a feeling that our number 9 shirt is actually cursed, the only genuinely successful number 9 we’ve had in the last 20-30 years has been Berbatov.

Anderton had it, and was constantly injured, so was Ferdinand when he had it.
Soldado had absolutely no luck.
Vinny was a massive flop.
Least said about Rasiak the better.
Pav was hit and miss.

He was 'hit and score' a couple of times to be fair.
