I thought it was quite amusing. I think english rugby needs more people like him. So many upper middle class public schoolboys who give politician style answers.

There’s always been a few that sneak in but now rugby is widely available and played in most schools, we’ll see a lot more Genge types in the coming years. Will improve the team too?

And this is why I hate the bonus points awarded, there was never going to be many trys in this game say compared to the Ireland Vs Wales game earlier in better conditions.

The six nations really should be a championship that gets shared when teams finish on the same points. Just revert back to the old system. This tournament never needed bonus points to make it more interesting.

It's divine retribution for the typhoon that allowed England to get to the World Cup final.

Don't get me wrong, it makes for good TV, doesn't mean it wasn't awkward though.

Yeah they are definitely a work in progress but they have so much potential. When they want to turn it on they are incredible.

Italy looked far better as well. They were putting some great moves together.

Although I don't contribute that often this is one of my go to threads to look at when I see pages and it isn't the same without @E17yid especially as it's 6N time and Ireland just beat Wales :cautious:. Bring him back.

I'm not going to suggest that there is an ulterior motive to this from the RFU especially with it coming into effect next season...
Awful decision.

You'd have thought they could put some of the money from Saracen's fine to good use. No idea what they're intending to do with it but it probably won't have much to do with developing smaller clubs.

RFU has financially been up the creek for a few years now, they've basically ringfenced the national team (in fact, basically given Eddie a blank cheque for whatever he wants) whilst cutting funding for everything else.

So rather than open the books for inspection the Saracens chose automatic relegation. How bad must their wage cap offences have been to choose that????? I must say though that I am impressed that some players are vowing to risk their international careers to stay at the club.

I wonder if the Premier League investigated the top footy teams, how different the league would look once City, Chelski, Liverpool etc ended up going down to hide things?
