I'm a once in a blue moon rugby watcher and The Haka really is a load of nonsense. Seems really outdated and can you imagine the grief footballers would get having a dance off before the Match. Its ridiculous they make the other team even watch it.

If Rugby was always this fast paced I think I would watch it more often.

It’s a pretty big thing in NZ culture, to call it nonsense I would imagine is pretty offensive to some.

No doubt it will offend someone but being part of a culture doesn't equal relevance. As an outsider it seems completely irrelevant in a sporting arena.

New Zealand Infantry making sure that their fallen buddies get where they're going

Look around online, lots of videos, it's a hugely important part of their culture.

How long can this pace carry on?

Great dummy - How come the video ref in Rugby is so much a part of the game but VAR is just a pain in the balls?

Fair - No point arguing with Mr Owens.

Love how everyone just nods and gets on with it.

It’s pretty relevant to rugby culture mate. They’ve been doing it for a few years.

Fair enough, like I say I'm uneducated in this matter so I'll concede to greater knowledge but I would argue just because something has been done for a while doesn't mean it always needs to be done. Probably countless examples of sporting practices which have changed to modernise.
