Big win for the All Blacks.

South Africa just made too many mistakes in important areas. If they can tighten up a bit they could take them...but still can't see NZ not winning the whole thing.

Looks like the rumours that Moriarty was getting dropped for Wainwright were true.

The full Wales team to face Georgia: Liam Williams, George North, Jonathan Davies, Hadleigh Parkes, Josh Adams, Dan Biggar, Gareth Davies; Wyn Jones, Ken Owens, Tomas Francis, Jake Ball, Alun Wyn Jones, Aaron Wainwright, Justin Tipuric, Josh Navidi. Substitutes: Elliot Dee, Nicky Smith, Dillon Lewis, Aaron Shingler, Ross Moriarty, Tomos Williams, Rhys Patchell, Leigh Halfpenny.

It’s as bad as feeding the scrum these days.
Nowadays I sometimes wonder why they even bother with scrums any more. The put ins are so one-sided it basically renders the contest completely redundant. By allowing scrum Half's to put it in like they do now it may as well just be an uncontested scrum. Properly winds me up how they seemingly just decided that it doesn't need to be straight any more. Completely ruins scrums.

Didn't they clamp down on this a few years ago? Brought back the forgotten art of hooking the ball.
Seems to have quietly been brushed back under the carpet. Maybe the front row union in operation?

I think the rule is that it has to be 'hooked' but it doesn't have to be put in straight. Though that's not based on actually knowing the rule!

Scotland very unlucky for the 3rd try with the bounce against the post, but in the game so far they're lucky still to be in second place!

Those pre season games were meaningless. The irish are back to their suffocating best. Scotland tried to chuck it around early on but just got shut down.

I genuinely can't remember the last time I saw a defending team hook the ball from a scrum. It's just impossible to do when the scrum halfs essentially just roll the ball straight to the 8. Like I say it basically just makes the whole thing largely ceremonial other than hoping the attacking team do something stupid and give away a penalty.

Not a great game to watch but Ireland have been ruthless.

Scotland need to be careful as I think Japan could give them a lot of trouble.

I was chuffed to see a banner in the crowd held up to the tv cameras which was from "New Ross RFC"
which is my hometown and also some fellah called Taidgh Furlong.

Next up..England/Tonga and me trying to work out how much sport I can watch on TV today without upsetting the Missus.

That went better than expected. Was really nervous about the game but it was never in doubt after the second try.
