Referee for today vs Fulham is Mike Dean. I hope he won't infringe between us and 3 points tonight. We are long overdue a decent referee who show us some 'RESPECT'

To tell you the truth, the dodgy decisions I can almost live with as being human error. What I can't accept is the constant fouling against our players without punishment. Why is Lennon injured right now? Because the prat in black against West Ham allowed them constantly to foul. He gave free kicks but no bookings, so they continued doing it untill the last minutes when they injured our best player for quite a long time it seems.

On top of this, because we have a rep as being softies, we are seemingly booked and penalised for the slightest thing, while the clubs with a rep for being hard bastards get away with murder because 'that's just their style of play'.

I think we should boo Howard Webb every time he officiates at WHL, to remind him of all the rubbish decisions he has made against us and that he owes us a goal and a penalty.

One of my m8s thinks Mike Dean is a terrible ref but then again he is a man u fan and he has given plenty of decisions against them recently most notably the penalty incident against man city.

The FA wouldn't allow Webb to referee at the Lane. He lets fans make decisions for him. The FA wouldn't want that, in case it effects the precious Sky 4. Because the FA are a bunch of corrupt fuckers.

i think in the future any match i'm going to, when i find out webb's reffing i would happily accept face value for my ticket from another fan. i have no desire to have that **** ruin another match for me. he's reffed the 2 matches i've seen where the reffing was to my mind unacceptable and destroyed the chance of a good match.

but what about at old trafford when he gave them a penalty when we were 2-0 up. can't even put that down to their fans as they had made no noise all game and we'd been very noisy. i think it's more calculated than reacting to crowd noise.

He's just a shit ref with an agenda. The agenda being to prance and pose in front of the TV cameras, and to shove his preening face into the limelight with his ridiculous decisions.

He said it himself after the Austria-Poland game, when he received death threats from the Polish fans. He said that refs don't want to be liked, they want to be respected. In my book, respect is earnt, yet he thinks that because he carries the cards and the whistle he is instantly worthy of respect.

This is what enrages me about the 'Respect the Ref' campaign. If referees made decisions that were fair, balanced and not used to serve an ulterior motive, then they would be worthy of respect. But they seem to think that respect must be granted regardless of what they do. And they are far too keen to grab a slice of the limelight.

It's a disgrace. I try not to use that word too often, because it's value has been cheapened by overuse. But in this case, I think it's apt. They lack grace. They lack dignity. They have become crass and vainglorious and they are contributing to the almost constant disrepute that football suffers these days.

I was frustrated that some of the Fulham players did not get booked, and foresaw this resulting in a key player getting an injury due to lack of protection, but that aside Dean did ok.

I forgot how petty he can be and how much he can interfere with the flow of a game.
But he had no real howlers and wasn't looking to make a big decision so there are plenty worse refs out there.

I thought he gave fouls too easy against Crouch and what BBLG said. Other than that, not much to do
