Did it sound like he was eating fish and chips?

No? Shit, maybe he's come back to Spurs then

fancy giving a run down of what he said for those that haven’t got an hour to listen to it?
Mainly talks about his experiences with racism inside and outside of football, little bit about tottenham how he would gladly stay, loves playing in front of the spurs fans. How people are probably fed up with him talking about stuff but admits he’s just honest when people ask him a question he gives an answer. I think he comes across like a regular guy. Thats all I remember

He didn't sound like how I imagined. I thought he'd be much snappier, like he on the pitch.
On us, he acknowledges how supportive the fans have been and wants just one more game to say goodbye.

He strikes me as the kind of player Jose would genuinely love - aggressive, never ever backs out of a challenge, gets forward and, contrary to how a lot on here would have you believe, can actually deliver a cross once in a while so to have him come back to alternate with Davies makes a ton of sense.

Two different styles, two different players to cover what is traditionally a problem filling for a lot of teams and both more than capable. I've always been a fan of him on the pitch, that little run of articles and interviews I think was a bad idea and contributed to destabilizing an already shaky dressing room, but never had a problem with the effort he puts in.

Only complaint I have is ffs, Dan, make up your mind! I changed my avatar cos you left, you made me make all that effort, you best be prepared to put in a shift! You owe me for... i dunno, like, half an hour on potatoshop - in fact, longer, cos I had to find the CD then find the serial number, so yeah, best get a move on if you're coming back.

All the noises are that he’s got no future here. It sounds like a player who just wants to get his bonuses for staying and not peddling for a move. Or now Newcastle don’t want him or can’t afford him because the change in ownership didn’t go through or he didn’t perform well enough there.

He wasn’t good enough for us in the last months of his time with us. I think his time is up and Mourinho will want him out of the squad for his off pitch demeanour too.

While I’m probably one of the more vocal Danny Rose detractors, I’m not convinced that selling him for what would be a small fee is preferable to reintegrating him and getting one more year out of him competing with Davies, while loaning Sessegnon to hopefully a lower premier league club that will give him a first choice slot at left back.

I guess much depends on how many bridges Rose has burned and how ready either Sessegnon or Cirkin are viewed as being, but if both are still a year away then I’m not sure that we’re attracting a better left back option than Rose any time soon, whereas in a year there’ll hopefully a more conducive climate to sign top players, the £8m or so we’ve foregone on Rose and £3m salary he’s been paid shouldn’t really be relevant if we’ve had a good season.

I hope he plays for again, 30 and I think he's still got something in the tank. Always gave 100% for us

Absence makes the heart grow fonder. While he did give us his all in the past, I think you're forgetting just how bad he was at the beginning of the season. I like him and wish him well, but his time with us is over, he should have gone in the summer but was happy to sit on the bench and collect his wages.

If you can separate the racist issue I think this bloke has been a right pain and would not be surprised if the club pay up his contract to get him out of the way he seems to be a bad egg in regard to team building and team spirit .
whilst I have all the sympathy regards the racism this bloke has been poison as far as I can see and his statement saying " I want to play in front of the fans again and would like to see out my contract " .What can be said is that he stated last year that he would not go on a transfer and would see his contract run down so as he could leave on a Bosman he made it clear that he felt he had been underpaid and this was his hissy way of getting back at Levy . We would assume he will earn more on a Bosman next year rather than leave this year being transferred .
That is my opinion and can only think everyone will give a sigh of relief when he is out of our club .
The shame of it is that we badly needed him and he knew it but did his own thing rather than help his team mates .
