Joe Douglas fired by the Jets. That has to ramp up the likelihood of Rodgers retiring after this season, as the new GM will definitely take a new QB over Rodgers, even if they don’t want to take one in the first round of the draft. And surely nobody else in the league is going to offer big money to Rodgers based on what he’s shown this year(?).

He's has the option for next year and has already said he plans on coming back next season.

Funny thing about all of it is....The Jets fired Douglas so they could start the process of getting a new GM. They are not allowed to interview anyone for a GM role while the season is still going.

The Cowboys could do the funniest thing....
It’s the ‘Boys/Jerry Jones so yes, that’s entirely plausible!

Also removes any doubt that the Giants will be targeting a QB1 so if we (Raiders) want Ward or Sanders we might have to accept trading up to get our franchise QB

Their biggest problem might be playing in the NFC North.

Yeah, Vikings are the surprise package, did not expect them to be this strong.

Lions I feel will start to fall apart if they fail to get to the superbowl again after making regular season look like practice. But yeah NFC North is going to be strong for the next few years

Whilst we are on the trend;

Positive - The tank continues in fine fashion
Negative - The Giants look even worse than the Raiders

Well, Daniel Jones apparently is looking to sign with a playoff contender. So that's potentially good for you, won't have him coming in and fucking up your tanking efforts.

Bad news is that the Giant have decided that Tommy "Cutlets" DeVito is their best path in tanking, which probably is correct.
