Vague article by Matt Law in Telegraph, saying Poch on borrowed time. Matt Law normally quite well informed, article stating where Spurs should stock or twist after West Ham game.
Matt Law well informed. All the LOLZ!£&&!

He may be right about this but the guy is a dishonest prick who slings mud without basis.

Nope. You're the guy on the internet who wants his team to lose. Don't even know where to start with this, so I will just rely on the good old ignore button. Please don't go to the games, please don't "support" Spurs, please don't even bother.
Please find me one single post where I have said I want us to lose?

haha :D

Would it matter if you had said it? After all, it wasn't that long ago you were willing to fight anyone naked in a mud bath over it, and suggesting someone who had said they wanted us to lose was only doing it because they were such good supporters or only had the good of the club at heart or something.

Is that a hint of sarcasm I detect???

Not exactly fully accurate, I distinctly pointed out that I want us to win every game, but that if people rightly or wrongly would sacrifice a match for what they believe to be the long term benefit of the club then it's a little harsh to dismiss them as not real fans.

And really, I know you're just a fan like everyone on here, but as such a prominent mod do you not think that maybe you should be just a tiny bit more grown up than the man children throwing insults about because they don't like someone's opinion on the internet?

Poch got loads wrong yesterday ....

  1. Started Eriksen who again was dreadful & shouldn’t play for us ever again.
  2. Played Lucas upfront in the first half & Son wide right, Lucas is not a striker & that again showed yesterday.
  3. Brought on Foyth when the game was screaming out for an extra midfielder to help soak up pressure & get hold of the ball, winks & Dier would of been ideal.
  4. Brings on Sessegnon with 20 seconds to play?
& that was just the Everton game, the list on Poch from this season alone is ridiculous !!
I haven’t been on here since I posted that.
I had been drinking as I watched the game in the pub that sending off infuriated me such a poor decision.
I agree with everything you said btw.
On reflection

Tbh, and I know this may sound like revisionism at it's finest, but even at our peak the style of play was a lot of huff and puff, and when it worked it really worked, but we still had plenty of frustrating games where we just couldn't break through.

Sometimes it maybe seemed more scintillating than it really was because if we were really on it we'd score lots of goals.

Or maybe I am just rewriting history, hard to tell without going back and rewatching.

we were farking animals for a few years but 2 years away from home, lack of investment in playing side and some bloomin unlucky injuries (Wanyama, Dier, Dembele) have cost us - such a shame to be honest.

I'm not sure how I should react to this.

I told a fellow Spurs fan who's very much Poch in that one of the reasons why fans are so concerned and have started to have questions about the manager's future is
our poor form over the the 2019 calendar year, not just the start of this season.

He rebutted by saying I should not be harping on the calendar year results and that run to the CL final affected our form for the 2nd half of last season. He went to say to be fair, focus on this season alone and that to include last season's form is baggage and should not be taken into account.

Tell me how I should react to this fan, lads.

Ask him if he thought it was good when we were the best team in terms of points for the year 2017, just behind City. If he says yes then you can tell him we shouldn't look at calendar year results.

The more I think about it, he should have been sacked on the spot after Brighton

Now is the appropriate time. Sheffield United are a fine side but they made us look like mugs. Pochettino was thoroughly out-thought and the players clearly weren't playing for him because there's no way you're going to convince me our midfield of Sissoko, Ndombele and Lo Celso aren't better than theirs. Brighton, as you say, simply out-played us.

And we should arguably have 3 points less than we have now - them, Watford, and Man City all deserved to beat us. We should be 17th.

I'd be in favour of appointing an interim boss until the summer, try and stabilise the club a little, and go from there. Poch should go now while he can still hold his head high and we all feel a little sympathy for him.

Couldn’t agree more. That week we got humiliated at home 7-2 to Bayern and then completely outplayed by bloody Brighton. That moment he should of gone. The Brighton was game was completely unacceptable and things haven’t got any better since then. A couple of wins against a pub team like Red star changes nothing and we have been dogshit all season in the league. Time for a change and ASAP.

Oh come on.

We were lucky to come away from Sheffield United with a point. We were even luckier to come away with a point against Manchester City after letting them completely pummel us.
The stone wall pen for Watford too, the Dele hand ball v Everton. Swings and roundabouts but I am in complete agreement with you mate - barring Leicester where we deserved more I think we were fortunate to pick up points versus Sheff U, Watford, City etc
