So true. I watched arsenal tonight and they played better in the league than we’ve done for about 10 months. They have issues of course but we aren’t even close to their level, that’s how bad we’ve become.

Yet all the media pressure is on Emery. Bizarre.

It's because we somehow, miraculously, navigated our way to a CL final.

Had City knocked us out, I doubt Poch would still be here.

If by some miracle he turns it round and he gets backed with a ‘rebuild’, how long before he’s whoring himself to Madrid again anyway. Just send him packing ffs
If you were a savvy Madrid president and you had the insight into the current Poch - what would your thoughts be? Would it be - give him £300m and let him build his dynasty, or would it be, look for someone who at least knows how to get us out of the shit if plan a fails? That is the very situation that Poch presents to us and we still have fans singing "he's Magic", The media who see him as one of the best in the world!? and a chairman that either knows fuck all about what Poch can or can't do, or would rather see us try and scrape out this hole than spend £30m sacking a manager who might get us relegated? The whole saga is a bloody joke and it's like the club is just blissfully carrying on with their daily duties safe in the knowledge that they will still rinse fans with high priced tickets when we are in the championship. How has it fucking come to this!!??

He won't get the bullet until CL is mathematically impossible. Right now it's certainly improbable but that will and should be goal each season now. We can't afford to miss out now. Shame we've already fucked it

This years transfers look pretty good I’d say. He may have turned some good players down, which has contributed to where we are now, but I don’t buy the idea that Levy isn’t equally to blame for the mess we’re in.
Absolutely. I have praised our recent transfers.

There have been stories over the years of Poch wanting more of a hand on transfers and less time with the team. It appears Levy has resisted this.

So who is culpable for several years of poor transfers is anyone's guess.

Personally I don't care who is to blame, I just want us to get the system right for us. If that is with or without Poch I don't really mind. But at the moment I believe his time with us is done. Would love to be proven wrong.

I swear getting to the CL final has somehow become a negative rather than a positive for us, typical Spurs I guess.

It’s made many people including maybe our chairman seem to think Poch has become this mythical figure who we should forever be indebted to and is impossible to sack. I wish people would realise that run for what it was, we were a tactically incompetent side who rode huge waves of luck and relied on some moments of individual brilliance to scrape through on away goals in both the QF and SF and then didn’t turn up in the final. It was a fluke run.

That's not what i'm going at.

I think the only way Levy will fire Poch is if the Home-fans turn on Poch. That's why.

That’s exactly what the little git is waiting for. The atmosphere to become so toxic that he has 'no choice' and takes a lot less of the blame himself, if any!!!

Just got back from the game, the atmosphere has definitely turned in the stadium. First half saw Gazzanigga have a ding dong with fans behind the goal, then early second half there was booing from the south east corner. It kicked off up there with a number of people turfed out. It’s starting to turn nasty and there is only one way this will end. He has to go now.

I asked a question last week about what the mood was like in stadium with match going fans and whether they were backing poch. General feeling seemed to be that they were.
Is that still the case or is Cambridge Spur right about it turning?
Just like last week I'm genuinely interested in it, not stirring etc I just want to try understand what way they are going because if the match day fans turn and they are the ones that got to truly experience the highs of last season's CL run then I can't see him last much longer

Again today general moans and frustrations at the way we were being frustrated by sheff Utd but heard literally no anti poch comments or moans or chants. A sprinkling of boos at half time but I’d say match going fans still very much behind him

One of my issues regarding his tactics - so everyone queries why he replied dele with foyth - at the game I turned to my dad and said ‘clearly moving aurier into attack means he will either replace with moura or sess. Sure enough he does - however not for another 15mins! What’s the point in bringing moura on with 3mins to play - especially when you appear to have an idea - make the two changes at the same f*cking time. That’s just one example but importantly it’s the rationale behind him needing to move on.

This was the first game that the majority of season ticket holders around us started to verbalise their frustrations. Wouldn't say that it has gotten "nasty" (to use the expression from @Cambridge Spur) but the temperature is definitely changing. I think a sizeable percentage of punters wanted to see the turnaround starting today - but instead we were played off the pitch by a team that we should be swatting aside at home.

Can't see where the change in fortunes is going to come from under Poch.

Unfortunately.

Poch has royally lost the plot. The starting XI on paper looked like a very strong team but his tactics are horrendous. Even early season when he was playing Moura, Kane and Son... a great trio yet Poch played them in each other’s pockets = completely ineffective. Against Villa in the 2nd half he pushed Moura and Son wider and we created a shed load of chances... yet after Villa he reverted them back to hugging each other. He’s either tactically inept and/or has failed to evolve with the modern game.
