I stand by my post. Have a look at some of the posts over the last few months. They are embarrassing IMO for so called Spurs supporters.
Look away from the Eriksen thread then, the word "embarrassing" is not even a word in there. :stop:

I'm still in the keep poch camp, and if we dont make Europe for a season, well so be it.

I would love to see this squad have to play only 38 league games and go all out for the title.

I’ve been Poch in all along and frankly found some
Of the comments by our fans embarrassing. The guy said right at the beginning of the season that this was going to be the hardest time for him at the club because of the major transition, but yet so many people are inpatient and want instant glory. This guy transformed us from a mediocre team that were labelled Spursy to a consistent top 4
CL finalist. Yes let that sink in. We were in the cl final. Who would of ever thought that five years ago? Last night was a glimpse into the future and I
Loved what I saw. We will strengthen in January and the summer but again don’t expect any miracles and let the man work. Let’s back him thick and thin and at least save judgement. He’s turned down the biggest clubs in the world to be with us so the least we can do is cut him some slack. Even the Bayern job is available and you don’t see him sniffing around. This guy has the backing of the players and the board so let’s make a statement on Saturday and show he has the backing of the fans as well by singing his name.

Credit where it's due, his summer signings are all quality. Ndombele and Lo Celso were exactly what we needed in midfield and Sessegnon looks like he could shine with better players around him.

I wonder how different our current position would be if we had all three of them fully fit and firing from the start of the season.

I think it was lower before the summer window tbf. Been through it a few times.

Liverpool used to be terrible with singings, and they'd have 7 Andy Carrolls for every 1 Suarez. In the last 3 seasons or so, they've got almost every one right.

I couldn’t care who’s spent what tbh I just found ifs and buts being used to kind of dispute it amusing

I don’t think the rotation is a problem, on paper we’ve a great squad, I think it’s more the constant change of formation, stick to 4231

And players. If we win and then the team if changed and you’re dropped, what does it say to you as a player? That no matter how well you play you face the risk of being dropped maybe? 93 consecutive games without the same team being named can’t be good for the players. I get rotation but there’s no reason to just give everyone a game every week if we win. Reward the players who've fought for victory by giving them the chance to repeat it next out perhaps?

It's Poch and he'll rotate. It's his mantra, particularly when it comes to full-backs. He will bring in Toby, Davies and Aurier for Dier, Foyth and Rose. Certain of it.

Just want the players that featured in our midfield and attack in Belgrade to start against Sheffield United.

I think he might keep Foyth to counter their marauding centre back on that side. But yeah I think he will swap the others. It is a hard choice for him who to leave out between Sanchez and Dier, or like I’ve said above, he could keep them playing to reward their solid performances last night. I thought we looked good at centre back and Dier playing there instead of Toby does make sense.

There's actually posters wanting us to lose matches so he can get sacked, embarrassing.

100% it's definitely something we shouldn't be seeing around here. We are all frustrated and concerned about our recent performances, but to wish failure on the man is just unacceptable. He deserves more respect than that.

This thread:

Win = People come in to say, can’t believe people are questioning Poch, you’re not real supporters.

Lose (or disappointing draw) = we’ve won 6 or 7 games in 10 months, he doesn’t look like turning it around and the form is terrible. Followed by a discussion that we might need a change as he’s not learning from his mistakes.

Reality = we’ve pretty much qualified from our group bar a disaster. Plus let’s not get carried away by one win, let’s hope we win Saturday and can then put a sequence of positive results together.

Hopefully Poch doesn’t bring back Winks back in. Last night was really positive but only because he finally played the midfield that we’ve been requesting all season.

What’s the betting he brings Winks and Eriksen back in...sigh

Last night we saw a midfield that was on the same wavelength and can pass forward. GLC and Ndombele are first team picks every single game and for me Sissoko gets the nod over Winks. We need to sign a top DM and then that three in midfield would look superb.

Winks squad player like he always should have been. You can see when Ndombele and GLC played last night what proper quality in midfield looks like. Winks doesn’t have it.

Yep there was a lot of people in the match thread after Everton saying they couldn't wait for the Poch lovers to try and justify it and now we're seeing the reverse after a win vs admittedly a poor Red star team. Was a step in the right direction and I've said that a few times this season and also said it won't be a linear trajectory upwards but we do need to start see a string of steps in the right direction. Let's get a result vs Sheffield and then begin a big shift after the international break and see where we are come Jan. Glad to basically be qualified for champs knockouts though.

I wanted us to lose games under Sherwood to make sure we got him out of the club. It was terrible going to games and he was embarrassing the club. That’s the only time I wanted us to lose, but I would again if it meant it was for the greater good of the club like it was then.

Depends on the fitness, I'm hopeful Ndombele and Lo Celso can do another 70-90 minutes but if they can't then the next important thing is to make subs quickly if we can't have them starting.

Well I for one enjoyed last nights game, more like the Spurs we want.
What will happen Saturday, do not know, but I am hoping the same as last night.
Onwards and upwards !
