He's good, not great. He can't ever be called a great manager until he wins something.

All the weird little behavioural and personality traits would, like Jose, be perfectly acceptable if he produced winning results.

He might be considered a great manager in future, as I'm sure he's capable of winning things. Just not in this country, and not with Spurs.
Completely agree 100%

Anyone saddened by this thread ? I try to avoid it but can't help having a peak each day and then once again I wish I hadn't.

Check-in here again tomorrow at 18.30, when we have lost to Everton, and see if you feel any different.

While I'll admit I am frustrated and jaded with what's happened over the last couple of months with Spurs, the contempt some are holding the club in right now over multiple threads is just as tiresome.

I have had a moan, but that doesn't stop me from wanting Spurs to actually win at the game of football ...

Moving on.

What would have been nice would have been to play today rather than Sunday, just because Saturday games feel rarer than hens teeth for us (although this probably isn't the case this season) I just want us to build a little momentum)

... there that'll give the locals something to laugh at/agree with.

Losing to Everton should be it. They like us are in horrific form. Whoever loses will sack their manager Imo. I believe Sheffield United will be harder.

It's not like we don't want the team to win. It's what state we're currently in.

Well.. I think for most fans, that if we had to option to choose between:
1. Losing tomorrow and Poch got fired
2. Draw or Win, playing the same shitty football we have been since 2018

.. would not be a one-sided vote at least.

He's not gonna get fired if we lose tomorrow.

We just have to accept that Levy is going to back Poch for the time being, only when his position becomes untenable and we're REALLY in the shit as in close to the relegation zone at xmas then he'll act. The reason is because he hasn't lost the dressing room, clearly we have problems with a few players but the majority of the players are still with him it seems.

What we should be hoping for is for wins and getting our form back.

Some seem to be lapping it up in this thread.
Probably although I don't spend too much time here these days as I have become disalusioned with the club, but when I do get on here I try to make more light hearted comments to keep my mind off the bad things. (y)

So have you decided these are the only two options?

So have you decided these are the only two options?

Do you wanna add a 3rd?

3. Stay behind the manager who single handedly are the only one responsible for the mess we're in atm, and shows no signs of progression.

Perhaps?

4. Spurs win playing well, regaining some confidence

I guess you'd rather option 1 though

For better or worse, the next three games will determine if Poch will stay thru to Jan. If he loses tomorrow, and fails to get wins in the CL and against SHU, then I’d be flabbergasted if he wasn’t let go during the international break.

So, I hope for his sake, that the players have some fight in them, as he’s pegging his future on their commitment to his management. Which will make starting players like Aurier and Eriksen the equivalent of writing a suicide note.
