It’s only October, why can’t the same team play twice in a week?! Liverpool play the same team game after game...!

I’d have gone N’Dombele and Sissoko in the middle for energy and Moura and Son either side of Kane to occupy their full backs and tell them to make runs in behind them and drag the centre backs out wide.

Some interesting viewpoints on this one.

I had to leave the match thread due to the melt down when the team was announced, one would have thought we would be on the end of the hammering the way some people were going on.

We lost the game, but at anfield to one of the best teams in the league. Yes, liverpool dominated us, but I didn't think our tactics were bad and for the most part they worked out. Pool are currently better than us, have more confidence and clearly better full backs which made a huge difference.

It appears to me that some people have already decided they want Poch out, so there is no room for discussion, rather they will highlight anything negative to continue to push that viewpoint.

Sadly, it doesn't make for a great forum, it just means we read the same stuff over and over again which gets a bit dull.

For me, I was pleased with the effort of the team and on another day we could have come away with something. For a team low on confidence a trip to Anfield was always going to be a tough game.

I wasn't impressed with Eriksen nor Dele this game and do agree that we should be moving away from relying on Eriksen. But my concerns over some of the team selections doesn't mean I think Poch should go.

But they didn't just outplay us - they outfought us for at least 85mins. We looked like a relegation team trying to snatch a point. Frankly, it was embarrassing.

I'd not made my mind up about wanting him gone after midweek, but I just watched the press conference and couldn't stand the sight of him. The reaction to the comment re: Tanguy is almost surreal...

Why do people keep saying this...we're still in October ffs long way to go whether Poch says or goes, can't believe people are writing us off already.

Well, are you confident? We've won 10 of our last 32 games. LCFC and CFC are on banging form.

We're bottom half, 8 points off top 4, Poch is selecting players who don't give a shit for our biggest games and attacking players in the media that do care.

Tick tock.

I don’t think Poch is doing himself any favours whatsoever with his press conferences. If he wants to leave he just just fucking leave. End the nonsense.

Has he actually said that, he probably has but is there a video?

well, at least #emeryout is trending as well lol
And so the miserable scat hath prophesised: "They Who Know No Just God shalt sack their false idol Emery, and yet swiftly in his place they shalt create an Avenging Archangel in Mourinho; whilst They Whose Eyes Hath Seen The Glory shalt misseth their chance to follow the true path to Salvation as they place false faith in Pochettino, who once sat at the right hand of the Almighty, but hath of late Fallen to the temptations of Sloth and Pride."

Goodison away is the last chance saloon for me, he fucks that up and I mean if we suffer a bad result because of him then he's lost me.

Fuming at the shit he pulled today, don't think I've ever been this angry at him.

coming from me I don't think he deserves to be in charge for Everton. he lost a big part of me with that starting line up. I expected us to lose today but when I saw that line up I expected a beating, and thanks to Gazzaniga that was prevented in the 1st half.

the annoying thing is if Son puts that chance away then 2-0 would have been hard to come back from.

today yet again the players that want out didn't show enough, Eriksen was pathetic and should go with him. the thing I worry about is whoever replaces him won't have it easy either if he has no choice due to depth because those 4-5 players want out and don't want to play for Spurs or Poch anymore.

What the fuck is wrong with him? Jesus fucking christ. Put him down already, Levy. Sacked in the morning. He needs a sabbatical away from football

I'm not throwing in the towel, Poch or no Poch, our players are far too good to continue this form.

I agree we can get back on track - perhaps to edge top6...but to make up the points already chucked away to genuinely challenge for CL qualification would require an unprecedented turnaround in fortunes and a reliance on a shocking drop in form from LCFC and CFC.

Regardless of our opinions, it seems as though the current management and players are all but resigned to a poor season.
