If Poch walks, he’s tainted as damaged goods, unable to turn it round.
If Levy sacks him, Poch insists he could’ve turned it round given time, blames the boards transfer policies for the upheaval. Comes out looking unfortunate.
Poch isn’t going to walk, he’ll have to be pushed by Levy (or pulled by Utd/Real etc).
Longer this goes on, more of a mess we become, because Poch isn’t turning this round any time soon. Don’t think he either can, or wants to. I think he wants out, but on his terms, so it’s more of the same until he’s pushed.
But the longer it goes on, more chance the two managers currently available (Mourinho and Allegri) with a track record of winning, and sheer reputation capable of commanding instant respect from the squad, could well have been snapped up elsewhere. Then it’s back to project/unproven options and a step back 2-3 seasons of progress.

I wish people would stop talking about Mourinho coming in. It’s like wishing for George Graham ffs. Yes he wins stuff but with terrible football and then there is the problem that 24-36 months later you’re in a worse position that you started in. Plus Levy will never give him the funds he’ll demand.

You love an excuse lol

no I'm not someone that overreacts to a game of football. been watching Spurs since 74 and have seen a lot worse than this.

I also put thought into every situation

you might not think that Lloris being carried off the field with a mask on his face shouldn't affect the other players, especially when their heads haven't been right most of the season. yet I could understand if it affected them and not helped by conceding such a shit goal again so early.

yes Watford are bottom and have been bottom due to the previous manager. like on here people want Poch out due to our form and would hope a new manager would give us the lift needed. well guess what? Watford changed their manager, and that manager has just had 2 weeks to work with his whole squad, because none of the Watford players were on international duty. so they not only never had to have a squad where most never had to play, but he has been able to work on problems. Poch went to Qatar because the majority of his players were away with their national teams.

if we was in the bottom 3 or on the edge I'd be more concerned, but we aren't and with the understanding that we are struggling mainly because our out players are the 1's letting us down big time, and don't know whether those that are going to replace them are ready or fit yet

The recent performance would suggest that Poch simply doesn't even know where to start in terms of arresting the slide. That's what is most worrying. I would be less worried if we were losing/drawing but certain sections or aspects of the team had been addressed and were showing signs of improvement e.g. how difficult is it to increase the passing tempo and number of touches taken?

This is my concern. I think this weeks CL game will be another tactical setup again, with more changes in personnel. Let’s not kid ourselves it’s tactical flexibility based on opposition, and squad rotation, when it is infact a sign of not having a clue anymore.

That sounds a lot like Poch’s reign also but without winning stuff. I’ll take Mourinho thanks.

Our season will turn around by the end of Nov, with the reintroduction of Lo Celso, introduction of Sess, Ndombele getting fully match fit and hopefully Poch still being here. Liverpool away is going to be a shit show.

Poch himself says Sess is for the future so why is he now being seen as the person to turn around our season.

Forget looking at Utd and consequently Solskjaer's future, we should be proactive in sorting out our own destiny!

Couldn't give a tinkers toss how it's perceived by the wider media and fans or if it's somehow 'bad PR' because this is a rudderless ship that's clearly meandering it's way to being a season completely written off with a very realistic chance of us being out of European football next season.

Get the sense that we're not a club capable of giving Poch the resources he needs to nuke the entire squad and start over (which is needed since we haven't invested in the last couple years), but don't want to let him go because he'd go to United where he'd get that very opportunity.
Well there is an alternative, we could end up in the Championship. Because we look incapable of winning one game never mind 9. At this point, I don’t give a fuck what United do.

Again, that’s the point. Poch wants a revolution, Spurs need one, and Levy didn’t green light it. This comes back to him again and again.

He can't want one that badly then, he's been with us 6 years and every transfer window he says he's happy. That's not the talk of a revolutionary it's the talk of a fraud on a lot of salary

The reality is:
1 very good PL season 16/17 86pts.
1 quite fortunate cup run that he lost 5 of 13 games.
Won nothing.
Whilst that is true you’ve also completely missed out the turnaround of when he started the job, we were a complete shit show before he turned up, much like now
