Based purely on the levels of effort from so many senior players, especially Kane, he’s totally lost the dressing room and has to go.

Mauricio, a false messiah

was fun while it lasted, but throughout his tenure our attacking play has always been shit and disjointed, relying on individual brilliance more than off the ball movement and tactics.
I'm sorry but this is rubbish.
Some of the best attacking performances I have ever seen at spurs (I've been going 37 years) have been under Poch. I concede that he is far from a perfect manager, but to write off our attacking play like that is plain daft.

I understand that the manager is ultimately responsible. Even so the whole "not playing for the manager" thing just completely disconnects me from the players who are earning more in a week than I will in god knows how long and are just running down their contracts so they can leave anyway.

A weird feeling supporting spurs at the moment.

I think we are also seriously underestimating what a big appointment Mourinho would be.

Champions league winner with Porto and Inter Milan.
Won the league twice with Chelsea.
Won league title with RM, Copa Del Ray, Spanish Super Cup
Won Europa League and came second with a trash squad at Manchester United.

Look at this and look at our trophy cabinet. How can you reject the opportunity to sign this man?

There was a time when we could only dream of signing managers like him. But we have evolved from that( Poch and Levy should be credited with that.)

I am also aware that it will only last a couple of years but I am not asking for more than that. This club needs to start to winning trophies to get to the next level.
Mourinho would be a good start.

I hate to say it but it feels inevitable now.

Too many chances for a revival in form against the perfect opposition to show it, gone begging.

I'm not mad, just disappointed. I miss enjoying football.

Utd couldn't match mourinho's spending ambitions. We can't even come close to what they spend. A complete non starter in my opinion. He doesn't care about buying for the future he wants top players in their prime on top wages. We can't do any of that.

What opportunity? Have I missed something? I think it's very unlikely, considering the way Levy runs the club, that Mourinho would come to Spurs. Think it's more likely he'll go back to RM.

At this point every day where we haven't sacked Pochettino and made a serious effort to hire Mourinho or Allegri as his replacement is a day wasted.

How much would it take to buy out benitez from his chinese contract do you reckon? I think he is a way better fit for spurs than mourinho.

sorry but how can you or anybody not understand that the form from Feb to May was down to BURNOUT

This season a lot of it's down to players not playing for the shirt or the club, because they don't want to be here and at the moment the only player being punished is Eriksen, the 1 player that as a rule makes us tick (not so much this season). we made 4 signings 1 sent on loan 2 of the others have been injured, and Ndombele admitting to finding the change pretty hard at the moment.

we have Winks and Sissoko defending our backline pretty poorly, and both not playing the right passes or having an end product.

at the moment everything is frustrating

How do you explain the trend for how we approach and start games is the same though?

We start games really slowly, and then with 20 minutes to go we're frantically trying to get back into the game or trying to win it.

It's the same as last season. That doesn't suggest burnout (not saying it wasnt ONE factor last season) It's a worrying trend that suggests, we're not mentally prepared properly to start games and the coaching in terms of our movement has looked non existent for months.

we are still 7th and to fall lower, Man U would have to beat Liverpool by 2 goals, and Sheff Utd would need to beat Arsenal by 3
Sorry I meant if this continues. Its still too early for the table to mean much, the fact we're still 7th is an indicator, but our form for this year has been shocking and another month or so we'll be bottom half unless things change.

For years? What a load of bollocks.
Sorry, but this is an unnecessary comment.
If someone thinks it's the worst it's been in years, who are you to call his opinion bollocks?
Pretty sure that things haven't been this bad for at least 4 years.

The point is, if we continue are ppg over the last 6 months we'll be nowhere near the top end of the table. To only look at the table now whilst ignoring the context of how poor we've been for so long is classic burying the head in the sand.

There is no signs at all of us improving, only getting worse. The gap will inevitably widen between us and the sides at the top if things continue as they are.

I don't think Levy will let it continue for much longer.

A hammering by Liverpool will precipitate it I'd bet.
When you use ‘if’ you’re really proving my point. Things can still change, so much can still happen and that is when Levy’s poker game comes into play. Poch’s head may well be the price to pay for all of this but that is still only one of the possible consequences of our form, albeit the obvious one and the short term solution to the blood thirstiness of some fans and media. But that still leaves us with the same players and the random manager generator which is another gamble in itself. We could improve, as we all expect the other teams to do so. We could have the Revolution Poch wants with Lo Celso and Sess about to enter the fray as well as possible January arrivals. This isn’t burying our head in the sand like an ostrich. This is a meerkat, head up, surveying all risks, dangers and escapes routes. Simples.

I'm laughing at the WhatsApp inviting him to dinner with the team showing that they're behind him.

They'll probably tell him after he finishes his starter that they want him out

From observing Poch’s actions and words during the past year or so, it does seem that he wants to leave the club but doesn’t want to resign, so that he can get the compensation.

I think Levy has to weigh the options of paying out the compensation money or having the club being in the bottom half at the end of the season. IMO, the lesser loss would be on paying out the compensation, sadly.

The more I think about it the more I'm convinced Poch is finished here. It's sad because he's done really well.

But the thing we can't ignore is the performances. It's one thing to have latitude regarding results given how well he's done but our football has become painfully boring.

Honestly, for months we keep waiting for that explosive tempo to come back. It's not going to happen.

The truth is we use to be fantastic to watch, but we've become dull and stale.

I've said it for months, we start games so poorly and it sets the tone for the rest of the game. And Poch has inexplicably allowed it to continue.

It's lasted for months with absolutely no signs (bar one half against Palace) that it's going to change.

If he has lost the backing of Kane I sadly want him gone ASAP.

Kane is a much more important figure to this football club than Pochettino
