This is far worse than AVB at the moment. We were still picking up points under him, albeit getting spanked by the bigger teams in his second season, notably Man City and Liverpool. The football was turgid at times - glossed over by Bale being outrageous in his first season - but the second season was still salvageable, even in December when he was sacked. If this carries on this season will not be salvageable by December and we may literally be in a relegation scrap. Sounds hyperbolic, but if something doesn't change with our form, the last eight months or so shows that isnt too far wide of the mark. It just all seems too far gone, and while Poch certainly deserved some time to turn things around, as he has done very well and transformed us into the best team in the country in my opinion for a good eighteen-month stretch, at the end of the day we didn't win anything during that time so the good faith can only go so far, and this is just dragging on now and becoming untenable.

The only way Poch saves his job is to put Tanganga, Skipp, Parrott, KWP in...if he's serious about this rebuild like he was back in 2014 when he dropped seniors and out young hungry players in, I suspect he isn't though and like the players he's lost his hunger.

Not sure that’s going to save him. It might fit the rebuild narrative, but we need performances and above all, results.

The scary context is that Watford have been shocking, and they should of beaten us today.

Are people getting this? We're in serious fucking trouble.

Look at the context, what we've done in the league since last February.

Those are the only relevant stats Levy should be looking at in terms of forecasting where we're likely to be come the end of the season.

Unless Levy is willing to accept midtable, providing we don't end up in a relegation battle.

All jokes aside 9 honestly wins sounds way too much for this squad to achieve, that’s how bad things have become.
I'm actually being serious believe it or not.

We haven't won an away game since January. We are not coached, the players look unfit, mentally weak and Poch is making tactical mistakes. I repeat, who do we look like we can beat? I'm not confident we can beat anybody right now, never mind win 9 matches.

Just this very second at 18:34 left the ground. The vibes regarding Poch is not good in any way. Plus his latest comments he is saying our new signings need to be match ready. It has not gone down well. I have never known such a bad feeling/vibe within hour great club for years. Make your own minds up.

In your opinion, as a fan, is time up?

Took the hierarchy at the club long enough to see that. Poch saying new signings aren't up to the level he expects is a ridiculous thing to say.

I still think we can beat teams of course, the problem is that we can just as easily lose them and that's against any level of opposition.

It's a really frustrating situation as I think he needs to go and sooner rather than later, whilst we're still in touch with the top 4 but I'm just not sure how likely that is right now.

For years? What a load of bollocks.

That Poch hasn't been sacked yet is a disgrace and a terrible indictment of the club to be honest. I love and respect Poch but it's clearly over and he needs to go. Are we a big club or not? Any other big club would have got rid by now, to think we might keep him till January at least is a fucking shambles.

Just do it and get somebody else in.

I think our minds are made up, it’s Levy that needs to make his up...decision decisions!

One of you monks keeps bringing your browsing history onto this thread. Every time I click on this thread, I’m ambushed by Bouji lingerie ads.

I’m only interested in the bear and the dwarf right now, so sort it out whoever it is. Probably @scat1620- he likes french stuff

Poch has to go and now, no more lifelines. We’re supposed to be a top 4 side, recent Champions League finalists, and sights set on a trophy. Allowing this horrendous run to go any longer and the 5 soon to be 8/10 pts gap will become insurmountable. We must turn our form around now/post Liverpool and then strengthen in January.

I think Levy will wait until the gap to the top four is around nine points before he does anything. His minimum expectation for the season was probably a top four finish and he'll want to be certain that can't be achieved before getting rid of a manager that has exceeded expectations in previous seasons. I think the Liverpool game will be Poch's final game in charge. There's no way we can play like this and not get beaten. Looking at it from another perspective I doubt a new manager would want his first game in charge to be away at Anfield.

Pochs presser:

"The performance wasn't great. It wasn't great, but again when you concede an early goal of course in the momentum of the team it's always tough. Of course it's a difficult situation because when you want to build your confidence again and be solid and to have the calm to play, because you always need to be calm to play, we started to take rash decisions."

"We were nervous. Of course the atmosphere wasn't in the way that you love to play in and it wasn't the best. I understand of course the fans and everyone. It's not easy. I was a professional player in this type of situation and it is so difficult to play. Of course Watford defended well and were very strong, never gave the space to us to be clear and have chances to score."

"First half for us was poor of course, but second half I need to tell you that I feel very proud and we fought and always took risks. We started the second half really well and Sonny provided good energy and the team was fighting and never gave up.
In the end we got the reward from Dele Alli's goal and I think fully deserved. That is the first step to build our confidence and we need to stop to consider the poor goal that we conceded.

Of course when you analyse the situation after Bayern Munich it's normal. We were with our confidence here (holds hand up high) and then after Bayern Munich our confidence was on the floor. What happened against Brighton when we conceded a goal with the first action and the impact of losing your captain to a big injury, of course that made it very difficult."

Now it's step by step and we will stay strong. It's only football problems and we are football people. We will try to find a way and we are trying and doing things, trying to be solid to start performing in the way that we all expect that we need to.

More in the link.
