poch has coached us as far as possible now. Our form at the tail end of last season was terrible and the champions league was a saving grace, we didn’t turn up for the final and if we had that would have been a perfect time for poch to bow out. Sadly he will bow out trophyless and as a nearly man . It’s true he has not had adequate investment however there have been opportunities to win stuff when we had a young and hungry team, right now the squad is stale with no hunger or drive.

Every time we make it to a semi or a final or within 2 points of top of the league we handle it in the completely wrong manner.

We need a real winner to get in there and be given 150-200m on a couple of big players and an organised defence.

I love poch but he has had his chances . Footballs a revolving door now and there isn’t room for sentiment.

He’s made some very questionable decisions this year but I still stand that we should get a complete turnover in the squad with Poch as manager

Like today for example yes he made some wrong decisions but if we had better wingbacks than Aurier and Rose who can actually cross the ball we might have created more chances
We are in danger of Championship football with Poch in charge for the rest of the season. Who do we look like beating? We can't beat the two worst teams in the league at home. How bad is it going to be if we haven't won another game by January? We're Tottenham Hotspur, we can't just wait for fucking January for an overhaul that may or may not happen and even if it does, may or may not turn around our fortunes. A January overhaul is as risky if not more risky than a new manager at this point.

These players are good players who we all know have performed at very high levels only a year or so ago. A few rocky results and performances I can understand, but this is far far worse. We've had one good performance all season.

I still want to see if Poch can get us going again when Lo Celso and Sessegnon come into the team but every poor performance is driving another nail into his coffin.

We cant afford to throw this season. The squads good enough to come third this season.

A change is needed unfortunately we cant bin the players and keep Poch. The manager must be sacrificed.

We have made good strides since Poch has arrived. If we throw this season just to keep Poch it would be equivalent of hitting the brakes after a good nitro booster.

To be honest we are going to get absolutely pumped by Liverpool so may as well wait until that's out the way. He simply has to go though, we could be heading towards a relegation battle and there is no sign of him turning things around.

Of course I never want us to lose a game of football or not get a win. But a defeat by Red Star on Tuesday could be in the best interests of the club in terms of DL finally realising that the time for action is now. Let's be honest, we aren't winning the Champions League, so likely crashing out on Tuesday is a sort of 'free hit'- away from dropping more crucial points in a league season that is still salvageable.

Poch has to go and now, no more lifelines. We’re supposed to be a top 4 side, recent Champions League finalists, and sights set on a trophy. Allowing this horrendous run to go any longer and the 5 soon to be 8/10 pts gap will become insurmountable. We must turn our form around now/post Liverpool and then strengthen in January.

I can tell you all now it's gone way past what formation we play.

Never really known a situation where players can go from loving Poch to this breakdown.

Guess just like us they got pissed off with his dumb comments in press conferences and perhaps his weird approach to recruitment and tactics.

Thing is though Trix, how long will DL give him? People keep expecting the previous game to be his last but there is no sign that DL is about to sack him.

Today is on poch. There is no excuse for rose and aurier playing and also both of Toby and Jan. Given how they have played this season all of them should be dropped at any opportunity but I acknowledge that one of Toby / Jan needs to play depending on whether foyth goes RB or not.
It just looks so broken and for the first time I actually think he has to go, it's gotten that bad. No one is blameless in this mess but his blind loyalty / stubbornness has contributed massively to this and he only reinforced that today.

Once the players stop playing for you it’s virtually impossible to get the back onside. Seen this too many fucking times at too many clubs and it only ever ends one way.

Instead, he changes system AGAIN and leaves Lamela, Son and Ndombele on the bench. Bizarre.

I assume he was resting those players because he knows he absolutely needs a result against Red Star and thought the team he sen tout against Watford would get the job done. I also assume Poch knows the CL run is what defines his employment status in the short term.

It's never good when a manager is picking the team to fight for his own survival.

Reading that comment from Trix, is that suggesting that no matter what formation he plays the players won’t deliver??
Dressing room lost.
Fans lost.
Whats left......

Waiting for Man Utd to sack OGS and then come pay us for Poch? I can’t see it happening. I think they’ll go for Allegri instead, knowing Levy will want big money to release Poch. Equally, if you were a Utd fan, would you really want Poch given our current collapse?? Or a guy who coached Juve to 5 back to back Serie A titles, including 4 league and cup doubles, and then left on his own terms to face a new challenge. He’s not damaged goods.

As I was saying at HT to @scat1620 , I'm not Poch out yet but I can only repeat what I said before the international break. Some of these players are just going through the motions and are going to get him sacked if he doesn't change things. And we are talking about senior, core group players who have a real effect on proceedings and what is being played out.

Not just on todays game, but I'd say there are five of them in particular who look a bit detached and/or are going through the motions. That doesn't mean we're getting no effort from them, it doesn't mean they don't still make impacts on the game, but I don't see 100% focus and a hunger for the cause.

They are:

Eriksen - Lets get the obvious one out of the way first. Been unsettled for ages and we've seen the clear effect on his game.

Rose - Physical decline, but just seems to play even more with his head in the clouds and back to switching off constantly.

Vertonghen - Also showing signs of decline, another who is getting caught out from switching off and going through the motions.

Alderweireld - Daft errors/play with and without the ball increasingly being seen.

Kane - I fully expect to get abuse for this one, but he's going on the list. Just plodding around half-heartedly for the most part. Just on todays game, people will no doubt point out the handful of times he got angry and chased something and say that shows he's fine and I'm talking crap, but he doesn't press and even when we have the ball I can point you to umpteen times today when eg. a cross went in and he's just stood looking rather than trying to get on it. There's far too much of that currently.

You can argue everyone else's strengths and weaknesses, tactics and what the manager is doing wrong etc, and they're all problems that require fixing, but I see those five as the biggest problem that needs rectifying, ASAP. And they're arguably the most senior players, age/profile/tenure at the club and must have substantial weight in the dressing room. I think some are totally a lost cause, in that case remove them. If he doesn't it will all end in tears.

We need eleven players out on the pitch who are hungry and want to give there all. That's the starting point before we get to quality of football and winning matches.

All this talk of rebuild and change means nothing if you keep reverting to the same situations that got you in this mess in the first place. There was no real radical departure in team selection or tactics.

We were the same mess today that we have been most of the season, I truly believe Poch wants a change and to be elsewhere and the players are done with him. It fucking pains me to say it but it’s time to make the change for the good of all involved.
