People saying we played well first 30 minutes, Gnabry was through one on one in the first 90 seconds.

We were all over the place from the start.

The city game showed me how seriously wrong things are behind the scenes. That should have been a thrashing too.

The writing has been on the wall for a while but some fans just don’t want to look at it.

Completely agree, the diamond does us no favours. We need a new defensive midfielder to play with Ndombele in a 4231. Until we get that player in, it's got to be Dier. Let's face it....our fullbacks (not including Sessegnon) are garbage. Absolutely futile arguing who should be starting for us as RB and LB because likes of Aurier (far too erratic), KWP (weakling), Rose (best days behind him and downward spiral), Davies (Mr Average who is ceiling is a mid-table club) are so far off the quality required and are simply not up to it.

Feel sorry for NDombele. Guy basically had his pick and he's chosen us right before it all goes tits up.

Would bet this isn't the project he got sold on by Poch.

We were one on one what was it three or four times id say? I think that is playing well... we pressed well.. our goal came from our press forcing them into a mistake and got th eball and scored.

They took control from minute 32 or so and didnt look back

The writing is on the wall - but for the manager or for the players? If we get rid of the managers the players are still there and theyre a problem so a rebuild needs to be made anyways. Let Poch take on that rebuild, he always said that it would be 'painful' and it needed an actual rebuild not just two or three players. We are two transfer windows behind where we need to be, let him take that on

I'm lost as fuck. Wasn't this season meant to be the season we challenge Liverpool and City at least? Poch got a few excellent prospects in. Crazy how its gone in 2 months, although this was building for a year. But what the hell, how has Poch fallen this far? Someone mentioned it earlier but I have to agree, he's not a tactician, he's a motivator. We need an tactical manager with experience working with top players to take us to that next level because Poch just seems like he's lost it. He can't handle developed players. That diamond is pissing me the fuck off. Wheres the width with the wingers? Everything is so narrow and we are so shit at breaking teams down. Defence looking pub team standard too. Bin Aurier.

I find it incredible that Poch didn't apologize to the fans in his post match interview. That should've been the first thing coming out of his mouth.
He has been trotting out the ”well these things happen a lot in football” line recently. Could have just apologized and said we collapsed and I need to sort it out.

There was a season that Dier played RB.
The back 4 should be Dier, Sanchez, Verte and Davies.
Get sissoko as DM
Ndombele and Lamela
Son, Kane and Alli

Drop Alderweireld, Eriksen, Rose and Aurier.
All 4 wanted to leave spurs

My point is do something else Poch

Diamond is horrible. At least if Dier was at the base, he could split the centre backs so that they could cover the full backs, but as it is the full backs (who aren’t great anyway) are totally exposed and unprotected. Additionally, they have sole responsibility for wide creativity but are unable to put in a decent cross between them. Ultimately, even top centre backs (which ours no longer are) will crumble under the onslaught.

That said, none of this explains why a pretty decent first half display turned into that abomination in the second half, nor why we lack any cohesion or understanding as a side. Majority our players fall somewhere between good and very good, with one obvious top class player and a couple of obvious below par players. Therefore, when this happens, the buck stops with the manager.

Anything less than 6 points from the next two matches and I’m no longer for this manager. If we get maximum from Brighton and Watford, he’s bought himself time but that’s all, as the reality is there he’s not getting a tune out of a squad brimming with talent. Brendan Rodgers is looking very good suddenly,

Yeah I'd be on board with Rodgers to an extent (if we can't get Allegri or perhaps Jose) - shame he moved so recently. Don't see him agreeing to join.

I'm really on the fence with poch. Gonna have a few days away from reading anything about it. Whilst I like him as a manager something is clearly wrong at the club. I also find some of his tactics and team selections questionable, and his substitutions are dubious as fuck.

If Poch were to go, Rodgers would be my first choice by a mile.

People slag him but he's a very astute coach imo.

And before people say would he leave Leicester for us, of course he fucking would.

He can bring their RB with him as well!

Lo Celso and Ndombele must be kicking themselves. Could have gone almost anywhere else. They're probably our two most important players though, looking forward. The rebuild has to start around them (and son and Kane). Build a team that suits their abilities. Realistically we need a great defensive midfielder, and a whole new defence besides RCB. Even GK is up for grabs in the next couple of seasons. The attacking talent should be fine besides Eriksen leaving, and we need to look for a great winger rather than an Eriksen replacement. We all just witnessed what raw pace and skill can do to a defence. Kane also needs to be sat down and told that he'll be rotated like any other player, he's great but we can't carry him during off games and he has several of those nowadays.

I don't know what the actual answer is besides the obvious squad overhaul. If that means poch has to go then I'd rather it be now and let a new manager acclimatise and try to make something of this season before it really goes tits up. Rip it off like a band-aid

It is nigh on impossible to defend Poch at this point, people saying he needs time and opportunity to turn it around but he is not showing much desire to do so by continually picking players that have been alluded to not wanting to be here in a formation that has continually shown to leave us utterly exposed

I was hoping Southampton was a turning point, but tonight’s capitulation has all the hallmarks of a squad that has downed tools for it’s manager. And once that’s the case there’s no going back I’m afraid
