Yes and no. Yes he’s been amazing and moved the club forward but he’s also been the master of his own downfalll in many winnable big games where he could’ve got us over the line for a trophy. Mourinho would set us up better and be able to make better changes to our formation/shape midgame. I'd go as far as to say he's the best in the world at that maybe next to Conte.

Exactly. When did we last actually hire a manager who is a proven winner? I think Ramos was the last one but he didn’t speak English so was never going to work. Next appointment needs to be a top level manager who has experience of winning things.

That is the real question. Perhaps in the past regardless of money, managers of his ilk just weren’t interested so we had to settle for the 2nd tier Ramos and Santini and jols of this world but now with our stadium and squad and budget and recent runs in the CL etc, we are on the map and surely a very attractive proposition for someone to take on the next phase?
