It all depends who's available at the time doesn't it. Obviously :D

Personally I'd put a large chunk of wedge on Eddie Howe being Levy's choice but if available you couldn't write off Mourinho as an option if we can't get him. Or maybe Tuchel, or even that Norwich guy.

Speaking for myself I have no idea who I'd want, I'm clueless, I didn't want Pochettino and voted for De Boer or whoever it was, that's how much I know :D

Ten Hag strikes me as another AVB or FdB type who you'd think "he'd be great", but would flop.

Would be good to have someone like Houghton for many reasons, but if we had to go for someone who'd guarantee us a trophy, I can see why Mourinho would be considered

I fear Poch is done. I think he feels, like Eriksen, that he has somehow outgrown the club. I think they will both be in for a shock down the line.

All of the moaning is becoming tiresome. If he has a problem with the squad he should keep it to himself. His comments will have done nothing but damage team spirit.
If he does feel that he has outgrown the club then he's not doing a great job of putting himself in the shop window.

I think the point is that the fatigue/injuries and toxic atmosphere at the club, which many would consider to be the root causes of our poor end to last season and poor start to this season, stemmed from Levy's failures in the transfer market.

I do agree though that at the end of the day the manager takes the blame and that changing managers is often the only way to bring about the change in atmosphere that we're crying out for. Sadly I think we may be approaching that point with Poch unless he can find a way to revitalize the squad, and soon.

I think both Poch and Levy can take some blame for that window. We need to do more to get deals over the line quicker (which we seemingly started to recognise with ndombele this year) whilst Poch maybe should have been less stubborn and taken someone else when deals didn’t materialise. Believe it is the summer we agreed with Ajax to buy de jong but he rejected us. Levy offered alternatives but Poch said no.

Just wish he would stop being so openly miserable and at least try to put on a happy face. Will it change results? No, but it’d go a long way in dispelling some of the body language expert opinions and unnecessary drama (if he truly wants to be here).
He’s mostly miserable because of our performances so it’s a bit of chicken and egg thing.

This team doesn't play like a Pochettino team anymore, that's the most worrying thing. The extremely high standards and strict enforcing of the high-press has just vanished.

This team peaked when we competed with Leicester and Chelsea and has been in decline ever since, purely because we rested on our laurels and didn't continue to push on and improve the team. We should've added at least one quality player every season to keep things fresh. It's no wonder it has become stale.

Yep, just like when we were flying under Redknapp.

There’s no foresight, it’s like oh we’re doing well now so why bother tweaking things.

I was nearly going to thumbs-up this. Then I thought about a few years ago when we needed to secure all are 'untouchable players' on long-term contracts and build competition into the squad. We didn't and that's not on Poch, but the board.

Contracts aren't responsible for putting rusty Wanyama against such an important game.
