Awful team selection. Awful tactics. Unbearable pressure built from the 20th minute onwards it was just a matter of time until Liverpool scored - and he persisted with a flawed system that gave the game to Liverpool. Once we made it to half time intact (mainly due to 5 very good saves from Gazza) he should have reorganised personnel and tactics. Instead he sent out the same flawed team with the same flawed plan for the 2nd half. Why he continues to pick players who do not want to play for the club any more I do not know, and his selection of Winks and Sissoko in CM shows he really has no clue why our results and performance have been so bad since he first started regularly pairing them back in February. He somehow persuaded Levy to part with serious cash for Ndomeble and Lo Celso and yet left them on the bench until it was far too late, in favour of the want away Eriksen and the out of form Winks. Yesterday was a real acid test for me of how capable Poch is of being ruthless and regenerating a new team. He failed badly. He needs to ditch Aurier, Rose, Eriksen, Alderweireld, Wanyama and build a new team around players who want to be here. Offer Verts a decent new 2 year contract and ship him out if he doesn't sign it (I am sure he would).

If we are to play 4-3-3 he needs to play pace on either side of Kane, which he can easily do with Moura, Son and Sessegnon on the books:

He could even be really ruthless and cash in on players like Winks, Dier or Dele to fund world class FBs / DCM. Whatever happens, we need to see a new team built with 100% commitment to the 'project'.

Listen any manager can get away with what he wants if his team is winning, but Poch's teams aren't winning, leastways on a regular basis, plus their performances have been up & down. Decent from time to time & dire at their worst, so it's not surprising that supporters are questioning the manager.

Until he starts to show he's got a handle on the situation & performances & results start to improve he's going to continue to come under scrutiny.

If we were to lose the next 2 games talking about the possibility of relegation will be a valid topic.

It’s up to Levy really. Stick or twist time. Stick with Poch and I can only see this poor form continue and we won’t get CL football, and Kane will almost certainly be off and I won’t blame him. Twist get a winning manager in like mourinho, go on a run and Save this season as we are more than capable of doing so and kane will stay, Honesty think it’s as black and white as that. Of course there are no guarantees but twist now and we have a much better chance of the latter, just my onions.

I actually gave up his selections when he played Alli instead of Lucas in the CL final. Nothing will beat that.

He is 26 approaching his peak despite the injuries he is a fine striker who needs to seriously look at where his career is going at spurs, become even with THFC tinted glasses on he isn't going to win anything at the club.
He has to move on otherwise he will end up like shearer a legend yes but unable to be successful at their boyhood clubs, if he was to go I would not be pissed off with him at all in fact pleased that he wanted to show ambition something that levy and co are not.

I can't begin to assume what someone in Levy's position must consider when making a decision as critical as this. But I'd like to think that they have Red Flag signals that they look out for. EG: Is it clear that the players no longer trust the manager or believe in their approach? Is the manager evolving their tactics to help the team get out of a funk? Do potential new players look at the current team and manager and are now reluctant to join? Are some of the best players in the squad now agitating for a move, cos they're frustrated and annoyed with the team? What is the manager saying behind closed doors to the trainers, medical staff, recruitment, etc? Do they seem defeated? Isolated? Stubborn? Are they blaming others for their faults? Are they waving around the victim card?

If these Red Flags keep popping up, then you'd think he'd have no other choice than to fire Poch. However, we don't really truly know what's going on behind the scenes. And I can only assume by Levy's non-action, that all is okay for now. Either that, or Levy doesn't feel there is a manager out there at the minute that could come in and help the team. Meaning, perhaps he's already spoken with the likes of Allegri and Maureen and both have indicated they have no interest.

With no DOF its hard to see how Levy would even pick up on most of this stuff...that could be part of our problem right now.

Look at it this way - if in 3 years' time we've gone deep into the CL every year and started to win the odd trophy, the club might be worth £1.5bn. If on the other hand we're half way through the next 5 year plan with no guarantee of success at the end...?

Poch is crap

Although Poch ,Has done well making them a regular top 4 side.
I.M.O.it was with a very good squad of players !
I think he is very poor tactically, and the big worry is he never learns from the many
mistakes he makes.
The biggest mistakes he made,was in the champions league final.
Moura scores 3 in the semi-final ,but plays Kane instead returning from injury unfit.
Give Kane the last 20mins if spurs are loosing.
Also played Trippier although out of form for the previous six months.
Sissoko had to cover him.
Im not sure if he does any homework on who we play next.
I thought everyone knew Robertson and Arnold are crucial players for Liverpool attacking backs
who cross well.
After 10 minutes i said if Poch doesnt sort the problem those 2 were causing we would lose
Erickson looked out of hes depth trying to cope with Robertson.
Likewise on the other wing ,Son wasnt coming back to stop Arnold ,leaving Ali in no mans land
not Knowing whether to stay with hes own player or do Sons other Job.
Playing 5 in midfield with Kane upfront would have caused Liverpool problems,not with Erickson wide right though.
Why Poch didnt tell the Keeper who was our best player,to stop playing short at the back,kick long for
Kane to flick on, or hold up, for either Son or Moura to break i will never Know as they have pace.
Its not because Spurs have not got excellent players,that their results are far below par its,because Pochettinos
tactics and substitutions are usually wrong and always too late.
I hope its not deliberate ,some managers prefer to get the sack when the going gets tough in Pochittinos
case he would be entitled to about 20 million if sacked,and sweet FA if he just left.
As the fans would like to see some silverware,I was suprised he didnt put hes best side out against Colchester.
I realise young players must get a chance,if you are going for a trophy you could win.We could have gone 3 or 4 up
and bring 2or3 young players on.

People keep saying he deserves or needs to be given time. I feel this is more due to Poch being the 'right man, the right place, at the right time' as opposed to there being an actual belief in him as a manager. We've had years of chaos and constant manager changes, it just seems when we got...

I think the bigger plan is to sell Tottenham for around 3 Billion ,and with the Billion or so profit Joe Lewis could pay it
into an offshore account.
Just like Ashley and the Glaziers it is just the perfect way to make money.
Thay dont have the same attachment as the loyal fans.
