Whatever happens, the manager needs to change, whether that be a personnel change or a change in attitude and the way Poch does things. Freshen things up, Mauricio. Training routines, tactics, players, whatever works. Act like a new manager or be replaced by one.

What is missing? For the longest time it was our inability to move the ball quick enough down the field, when the counter wasn't on and when we worked out from the back. We bought NDombele who I think is a great buy and more forward thinking than Dembele, Lo Celso who maybe a great buy (and probably Eriksens replacement) This is ok. But we forgot the defence. The one player we bought for defence is also an attacker,Sessegnon, which is also ok but still we forgot about the defence.
I like both Winks and Skipp but they are not weighty enough to play as DMs. We had Dier and Wanyama, two weighty DM's but they have been injured and also have slowed down a lot. Add that to two CBs that are looking for their last good payday (a replacement,Sanchez has been iffy at best, and Foyth who can be great but also needs to gain control of his head) an RB position that is weak defensively whoever you put there.

We have Kane,Dele,Lamela,Lucas,Son,Lo Celso and still Eriksen going forward,a manager that has staked his life on defence which was the backbone of his system and now he is somehow thinking of pushing this team more forward (Maybe it was Liverpools influence) and yet they totally forget about defence. Really its not comprehendable and don't tell me Poch is the victim in all of this

I think the first priority signing should be a quality DM for the Long term. He would be able to protect the CDs especially when the FBs are out of position.

Love Skipp and interested in Parrott. Yet with Dier and Wanyama outgoing, surely we need to replace them. Not sure Skipp, good as he is can drop into a back 3 or protect the defence like Wanyams and Dier used to do.

Parrott's raw and young. Hasn't had the benefit of 5 loan spells that Harry had before making the team.

I think we just need to trust them, they're teenagers on the verge of the first team so they're doing something right although I do think that we could do with another DM with Skipp.

No point bringing in another striker to cover Kane, it's a complete waste of money especially when we have Son and Lucas who can play as strikers and it also blocks the path of Parrott, Winks didn't have 5 loan spells either by the way.

Love Winksy - Winks isn't what I'd call world class. Maybe he should have had 5 loans spells?

Well in that case then it's pointless having an academy seeing as it's highly unlikely the majority of other players will turn out like Kane.

We don't know how good Skipp or Parrott can be.

I don’t know. I know klopp motivated his team to win the champions league after losing the final the year before. We may well win it this season, but at the moment, it’s not looking likely.

Winning another game full stop is not looking likely either at the moment.

They're both 'weightier' than Claude Makalele and Ngolo Kante - 2 of the best in the business. For my money though, Foyth should be right in the frame for the DM position since he can drop into a back 3 as well.

I do think that Foyth would be good at DM and could fall back too
I think Winks is a good Carrick type but with Ndombele pushing forward we need someone who can tackle better. Winks gets overpowered a fair amount.
Skipp I think would be better also more central. He always looks for space.

DC has extremely solid relationships within the sporting industry. He is not one clubs, players, managers, agents love to use to manipulate their agenda. Not confirming what he is saying about Poch.

Spot on with Foyth, he has the ability to play as a CDM. And it will provide us with some protection of the back 2. Problem is Poch trying to fit all 3 players Winks, Dom & Sissoko into the team. Square pegs in round holes....
