Oh FFS! :banghead:

PLAY A FUCKING RB AT RB!

No, I'd much rather have Sissoko at RB than Aurier or KWP given what they've shown this season. He has all the traits to be a good RB.

Playing Sissoko at RB also allows us to go back to a 2 man CM, without Poch having to shoehorn him in, in a CM 3.

I just pray that we abandon the diamond of doom, and line up in a 4-2-3-1. Dier partnering Ndombele/Winks in the CM2.

Good press conference from Mopo imo.
I actually don't mind sissoko at RB
I personally think he does a better job that Aurier and Sanchez. As for KWP, he is not consistent imo.
It's actually the midfield that concerns me.
Here's hoping for a better tactic and team selection

How is KWP supposed to gain consistency if he's never given a chance or the odd game here and there.

Why not KWP? How else is he supposed to improve and build up form/consistency?

Do you actually trust him though?

Forget all that building up form or consistency, is he good enough to play at RB is the question we should be asking.

We're at a stage now where we can't afford passengers in the team, we need to win matches at all costs...we've moved on from the potential stage to the here and now so we need to play our best players, I don't think KWP falls into that bracket unfortunately.

That's exactly what you want to hear, he is the best option available.

Surely you don't trust Aurier or KWP there do you?

Have you given up on Aurier then? I know you were quite keen on him and hopeful he’d be able to nail down the spot and have a good season.

Definitely, I can't justify his performances anymore. I thought that a run of games would do him good and with Trippier making mistakes as well I was calling for him to come in but yeah I got that one wrong lol

This is not a charity. He has not got the same trust from our management as other academy players like Winks or Skipp. Poch never hesitated with them but only seems to play KWP only if no option is available. If he is openly saying Sissoko is his best option, thats actually correct.

KWP is decent going forward but lacks the bite playing tense away games or against big players.

I can’t actually believe the mess we’ve made of our RB situation since we sold Walker.

He's made far less mistakes than the supposedly experienced Aurier yet he's getting chances over him. I don't remember KWP having a shocker, yes he's had good and average games but I don't remember walking away from seeing him play and thinking he was out of his depth. All I've ever thought about him is that he'll get more confident and better if we give him a run of games.

Good, last season the best RB performances came from Foyth and a cameo by Sissoko. Trippier who is now gone, Aurier and KWP ain’t good enough for how we want to play.

Well I don't know. He's the one seeing them more in training than we do. To be fair, he hasn't exactly state the claim when he has been given a chance though

I don't remember him doing too much wrong at the beginning of the season? Especially when you consider the experienced pros around him mostly playing dog shit... Anyway, this is for the KWP thread.

Foyths obviously fallen down the pecking order too!
No, he's been injured since pre-season. He needs to get up to speed again, but was actually decent playing RB at the end of last season. If Poch doesn't fancy Dier as a DM anymore, then he might as well give Foyth a runout there as well (and no, I'm not Thinktank in disguise ).
