On Twitter there’s lots of people blaming Levy for our bad form. Completely different to on here.

I wonder why?

Sure the summer window in 2018 might have some impact but it’s Poch playing formation, tactics and players.

In reality it's a combination of both. Poch's failings have been outlined many times in this thread but Levy also deserves a fair share of the blame. I'm sure we've had opportunities to sell some of the want-away players and Levy has turned down the offers. Likewise we've missed out on signings due to Levy's brinksmanship and tight-fistedness. Up until now Levy's strategy has worked well enough, but we're currently paying the price for the lack of signings and sales in 2018. We failed to refresh the squad, leaving us with twice as much to do this past summer and are now paying the debt for our stinginess.

People are always looking for a bad guy or one reason to enable a fix. This current situation is about more than one thing but a combination of several I think. I really don't believe it is beyond reprieve either.

Doesn’t reflect well on our fans then because there’s a lot of them on there!

Fans or failed mouthpieces who have merely adopted a club because football is so popular?

I worry about genuine support. I sit at the end of the ‘shelf’ and at any point during a game I’ll see at least a dozen people on their phone not paying any attention to the game itself. That’s without looking intently too

Wait, hang on. So in order to support a football club, you cant dislike the ownership? Well then, lets all have a word with supporters of Bury, Bolton, Blackpool, Newcastle, etc. Im sure they'd all love to hear that.

The problem is that Sissoko has been a solider for him in the last 18 months. Managers are loathed to drop players who’ve been fighting for them.
Would playing a 4-3-3 be an option? Which could also turn into a 4-3-1-2 with Eriksen dropping behind the front two.

Dier - Sissoko- Ndombele
Eriksen- Kane-Son

Yeah and I bet they'd all give their dangly bits for our owners....as would the vast majority of clubs fans in the football league.

The clubs you mention (although Newcastle don't belong in that group tbh) have very valid reasons to hate their owners...do ours?

One question. No patronising tone meant. Were you a spurs fan before Daniel Levy arrived? If not, I doubt you ever would've been one if not for Daniel levy. We were looking like mid-table mediocrity forever more before he arrived and doubt we'd have been on many overseas fans' radar if not for him.

I just think a new coach could solve a few problems, get some players on side and give us a nudge in the right direction. Our squad is insanely talented and is packed full of leaders and experience. But it has to be somebody proven and world class or we might as well stick with Poch and let him get on with this painful rebuild which imo seems like a little bit of an excuse.
Experience yes, Leaders I'm not so sure...

It's very factional over Levy and Poch isn't it.

Not on twitter, but I'd blame Levy way more than Poch because we haven't strengthen the squad at the right time. Poch is working with what he's got & he's trying to make the best of what he's got, unfortunately, there are a few in the squad who simply aren't pulling their weight, for whatever reason including them wanting to leave.

Me thinks you’ve taken what I’ve said personally. If people dislike the ownership that’s their choice. I can see why some might not be huge fans of how ENIC operate.

Twitter is full of morons. The vast majority of people venting on Twitter about ‘their’ Tottenham are not what I’d call real football fans, let alone real Tottenham fans. Just twitter morons
