I'm shocked that Huddersfield got rid of Cowley who was doing a great job on a shoestring with a team of loanies really, hopefully him and his brother get a decent Club in for them, good coaches both of them,vI think Huddersfield could be in trouble next season, they're struggling financially imo
Just read that they were sacked because they didn't want the chairman to have total control over transfers. Which is ridiculous. If it's a financial issue and the Cowley's are asking for players that are unattainable I'd get it. But I imagine this is just a chairman to scared to give any element of control to others and I can't see the Cowley's being too demanding, unless they've said the club needs a lot of recruitment to move forward and the chairman disagrees (he's wrong if that's the case).

Feel a bit bad for their fans. They've gone from their previous chairman who was totally committed to a vision of getting in the PL and who loved the club plus Wagner who brought so much joy to the club, to this mess within a couple of years.

Would be good to see him go there. They win Serie A every year....so no pressure!
I think he'd do very well. From what I've seen and heard, their fans don't particularly like Sarri's style and are not to happy with things.

I reckon Poch would work pretty quickly there and have players fired up.

I hope he goes too

As much as I dislike Juve, it would be a much more sensible move for him than Madrid, who he was always linked with. They're definitely a step up from us in terms of his CV/the prestige and they've got a strong squad in the division so he's likely to add silverware to his name. Plus they've got a relatively stable bunch running the show behind the scenes.

I wonder who they get to replace him? I can't see them going for one of the usual suspects.
I would say they'll go for a lower league pedigree manager who knows a thing or two about promotion, but all the ones I can think of are far more agricultural managers than Howe so if Bournemouth want to keep their style you don't go for an Alex Neil, Ainsworth, Hughton etc.

So I have no idea either.

Rumors in Italy that Inter Milan owner Steven Zhang is contemplating wether Conte is staying or not. Just crazy imo. One point behind Juventus this season. Couple of adjustments and they are top 1 next season

To be honest I think that's it for Bournemouth, they were the glory years, their moment in time, and I doubt very much we'll ever see them in the Premier League again.

Big test for Pirlo. Hope he does well. He's an absolute legend and one of the best footballing minds of all time.

I mean, he's no Sol Campbell, but still....

They're clearly hoping for a Zidane/Guardiola effect but has Pirlo even coached youth or B sides?

The man was appointed Juve U23 manager only nine days ago!

What a massive risk this is.

Lmao sacking Sarri shows what an absolute farce Serie A is. Juventus are so expected to win the title every season that winning it but nothing else is failure.

So presumably Pirlo needs to at least win the league or he'll be sacked as well?

Juve has been dominant in the league for 9 years in a row now. Napoli (ironically under Sarri) came very close and blew it. This season Juve were running away with it again and almost blew it. Throughout the season there were shakey moments as well, but world class players like Ronaldo and Dybala made the difference.

Sarri is a very flawed manager. He's old school, stuck in his ways, plays favourites and alienates players he doesn't like. He can take underdogs and push them by working them hard but he can't motivate and manage a top tier team. He is not a consistent winner. It was clear very early on that he wasn't the right fit for Juve. I don't think it's a reflection of the league, or bad on Juve's part at all. The holy grail for Juve is the Champions League. Should've won it more times than they have when you consider their stature and how Milan have won it more times. The fact that they have been so dominant in the league the last decade is why they've been shit in Europe. They need that domestic competition to give them a kick up the arse. I've always said that if Napoli would've pipped them to the title it would've made Juve stronger in the long run.

I do think that if Sarri won the CL but lost the league this season he wouldn't have been sacked.
