I'm going to agree with Lawro that it'll be a draw, felt the same about the Pool match though. In the past he's actually overrated us, last two seasons he's had us in 6th or thereabouts.

Tottenham v Birmingham

I love the fact someone asked Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp whether he could compare the current team to the double-winning team of 1961 - they've only won three games!

Yes, they will challenge the top six and yes, they have the makings of a good team.

I do think they will beat Birmingham, who got a point last week and were fortunate against Portsmouth.

Verdict: 3-1

Presumably the person who noticed that the '61 team was the last team to win the opening three games of the season before this one.

And I'm guessing it was more than a bit tongue in cheek!

Wow, 3-1. He doesn't often tip a team to score more than two. Even if it's top 4 v recently promoted he usually goes for 2-0.

I know, he's quite boring in his predictions. A lot of 1-1's and 2-0's. Don't think I've ever seen him predict someone to score 4.

would've been something like "Harry, your best start to the season since the '61 double winners, how does this team measure up?" or something equally throw-away.

Glad it gave Lawro a laugh though, this is the first win he's predicted for us and the Lawro leage currently has us mid table

I think that is quite a realistic predicition my bet for tomorrow is gonna be 3-0.

A clean sheet? Are you mad

I think Lawro has got it spot on, but as he hasn't predicted a 1-1 draw, I'm not feeling too optimistic!!

This is a test...a typical Tottenham banana skin of the past.

Yep....I'm more nervous about this game than any of the others we have played!

Gutted I had to give my ticket away though...

I don't foresee any banana skins here. We're at home, at pretty much full strength. We will beat cock-nose's Brummies into the ground.

I'm going for 4-0.

I'm not too confident. Remember last time we played them...

But we're stronger now and you're probably right :-D

We were toss then, had a terrible start and had just sacked Jol.

This year we're strong like bull.

Lawrenson tips Liverpool to win nearly every week. If you totalled up his predicted points they would have over 100 points every season. Still find myself reading his predictions every week though. It's like, I know I shouldn't be doing it, but somehow always give in.
