Kyle Naughton was a good RB who constantly got the shitty end of the stick by being shoved onto the left, ironically at a time when no one looked good there.

If we continue to have a stream of good players who all look bad in the same position, despite being good in that position, it speaks volumes for the players around them.

Speaking of Naughton, he scored a cracking goal for Swansea yesterday.

At best maybe a second choice right back, not too keen on Foyth as Rb either. Hope we go for some quality in Jan if not definitely the summer.

Please tell me what kwp is good at ? He isn’t a great defender and he certainly Isn’t great going forward ... he is basically trippier without the crisis the amount of times he passes it back and doesn’t drive on ... not to mention how many times he actually loses it in our own half ! Too many of our fans are happy with bang average players !

Ironic considering your username and picture.

He's got very good control, dribbling and final product FYI.

KWP has looked pretty average so far this season, but in a team that is struggling for any kind of form I'm not entirely surprised. We have no movement, no energy, no drive and no pace going forward which means KWP has no room and no options to attack. Given space and options he will thrive but the life is being sucked out of him and many others by our pedestrian performances.

From what I've seen, he is good going forwards. I've seen him go past more men with the ball in a handful of games than I ever recall Trippier doing.

I feel so sorry for the kid, can't recall him having any shocking games yet he's completely overlooked. Aurier has made far more mistakes and he's the experienced one yet still gets chances. If we're not gonna give him a run of games now just let him go in January so he can get on with his career, shocking man management when it comes to KWP.

Sky are saying Sissoko is RB tomorrow. Not sure if that’s been confirmed or not but if it’s true, it’s really harsh on KWP. He’s played generally well when he’s played, and to be replaced by someone who isn’t a RB, when one other RB is suspended after selling yet another RB at the beginning of the season, he must feel like his days are numbered here.

You just know that it will be Wanyama, Dier and Winks in CM with Alli at the head of the diamond...

Really I didnt see much defensively with KWP.. He looked better going down the wing. He physically isnt strong enough. Aurier had everything except control of himself.

I just don’t rate him. Never going to be good enough, he’s too lightweight.

I'd like to see Skipp get a game but not at DM
I totally agree. However, it seems that our current circumstances, self induced of course, are preventing certain players from being given a run out. Instead, we’re relying on the ‘tried and tested’ which brought us success. It’s a shame as the tried and tested are either broken, or don’t want to be here.

He hasn't progressed in 3 years, he would've been a good prospect had he put these performances back then. As it is he's been left to stagnate, signing Aurier when we did completely killed his career as the supposed meritocracy is total bollocks at our club.

Think this is a major issue for players like KWP who are on the fringes. They end up in this vortex of training and never playing. If you don’t play games you can’t get match fit. If you ain’t match fit you don’t get selected. Might already be too late for KWP despite never really doing too much wrong .Am hoping Skipp can avoid this and get some games even if it means U23.
