Or alternatively yours is because you are so desperate to be proved right so you can be one up in your eyes on an internet forum, and are already starting to try to ram that opinion down everyone's throats.
Doesn't matter how many times you say something, doesn't necessarily make it the case.
He did OK, nothing great, nothing disastrous, but has a lot harder tests to come.

Glad to see everyone respecting his performance, but that was just his 20th first team appearance. He’s going to have bad games in the future, hope everyone will remain patient when that happens and remember that he does have quality.

Exactly, he will mess up in the short term, but long term he will be a brilliant fullback. Patience is the key. Great game for him on Saturday. As he develops I feel his attacking will come on a lot

Decent performance against a newly promoted team. City is a massive test for any fullback and they will almost certainly attack KWP more than Rose, due to the huge difference in experience. A 22 year old Kyle Walker would have been just as much of an obvious target (he didn't really start to look assured defensively until he was closer to 25, and even then had a mistake per game in him).
A very high proportion of City's goals come from luring a fullback out of position and then cutting in to shoot / hitting the back post. I just hope KWP comes through it without any major blunders or knocks to his confidence.

He is 22 and has made only 10 league appearances!!!!
At 22, Kyle Walker was on his third loan spell of his career, at Villa.
Same old problem, of people not realising the time it takes to develop as a player.
My main concern for Walker-Peters is his physique. He will develop, but he will surely always be the smallest player on the pitch.
The modern full back seems to need to be a physical specimen.

I think with VAR size for fullbacks will be less of an issue. As long as you got body position you cannot as an attacker just push players out of the way.
Only one thing I don't like with KWP. He is so "timid". With the original Kyle Walker he would just storm down the line while KWP will often move like a ninja hoping no-one will notice him - even when he has got the ball.
That is something I am quite confident will get better with time though. And I believe Pochettino is a good manager for players that need to become a bit more brave.
The rest he has almost got. Good close control. Comfortable making passes in tight areas. Good pace. Quick feet. Decent crosser and certainly has some awareness in the last third.

Ha the reason Walker stormed was because he is a sprinter that can only really run the ball in straight lines
KWP has genuine dribbling skills and far more skill on the ball
Whether he will be as effective an overall player is going to come down to physique / robustness in the challenge defensively I guess
Walker was / is excellent at running back to recover a situation (sometime of his own making to be fair)
