You and me both, although fortunately I had NRNB on Faugheen. Looking like Annie Power will now run the Champion Hurdle which frees up Vroum Vroum Mag for the mares. Was very tempted to back VVM at 5/1 recently but didn't have this in mind at all. I've gone for a relatively optimistic (considering it's up in the air as to which races they'll all run in) Mullins four-fold of Min, Annie Power (not sure she's got the pace to win but worth a bet anyway) in the Champion Hurdle, Douvan in the Arkle and Vroum Vroum Mag in the mares. About 35/1.

I'm going on the Tuesday and can't wait. Although Faugheen withdrawing has screwed over a few bets it's gonna make this a much more interesting day than it was looking this time yesterday.

Gutted about Faugheen, will be a real miss.

If you have him in acca's then surely that line will just be voided I.e. A four fold becomes a three fold?

I need to go to the Kentucky Derby one day. Definitely a bucket list event.

Im on Exaggerator at 5/1 to win. Also placed a cheeky bet on Outwork.

Thinking of going Exaggerator, Creator, Lani for Win/Place/Show

Anyone else watch Thistlecrack destroy the field in the King George VI just now? Pretty special run considering this is only his 4th ever run over fences.

Clear favourite for the Gold Cup now. Future National horse maybe?

Had CC but Thistlecrack looked superb and jumped so imperiously today - close to evens now for the GC and can't argue too much about the after this showing.

Yanworth also ran a great race beating out The New One and was also impressed again with Min. (y)

I see that Coneygree is out of the Gold cup and Don Cossack is 50/50 st best, Cue Card seems to be being routed to the Ryanair...Thistlcrack may not have much to beat come march.

I was super impressed by Finians Oscar at the weekend but Capitaine also stayed in the notebook - he made a horrible mess of the hurdle two out and virtually came to a stand still, still managed to run on for second and get within a few lengths of FO.

I also liked the look of Augusta Kate on Sunday, she took a horrible fall as well but seemed to be moving quite nicely behind Death duty (who now looks a strong shot in the potato race). could be worth a few ££ antepost on AK for the one of the mares hurdles?

Cannot wait for march.

Cheltenham antepost;

Thistlecrack - GC
Altior - Arkle
Douvan - Champion Chase
Unowhatimeanharry - Stayer Hurdle

Lump it on

Also like @buttons Death Duty and Finians Oscar interest me along with Redhotfillypeppers @ 14-1

I did the same four fold a few weeks back, I'd say all bar uknowwhatimeamharry are bankers barring an accident.

What race did you back redhotfillypeppers in? I had a tip for her a couple of weeks ago, but forgot!

Gutted about Kempton.

Well Altior now declared in the Champion Chase has thrown the cat among the pigeons although still can't see a race with Altior and Douvan in it personally.

Backed Redhotfillypeppers in the Novice Hurdle rather than the Mares.

Great day of racing today - sure as hell there'll be a fair few acca punts on Thistlecrack, Un de Sceaux and Unowhatimeanharry along with VVM at Doncaster.
