Thank you, I will never hate a player who gets incredibly high wages not wanting to leave and get less, especially when in sports you have a pretty small window to make your nut. He has done/won everything on the club level and honestly will prob go to either PSG or a Japanese team post madrid because they will pay him relatively close to the amount he is making now to just jog around and score a couple of worldies. He would absolutely tear the french league up which seems less physical and especially at PSG where he would be surrounded by Neymar/Mbappe he would get tons of 1 on 1 opportunities to just do what he does best and thats cut in onto his left and bend it into the top left. Or he goes to Japan and rakes in the dough while also getting to live in a rad country (that is obsessed with golf) and improve his marketability. Plus a lot of players have moved to Japan and have been enjoying their twilight years (Iniesta, podolski) Also Bale will never be dropped from the Wales NT, he is by far their best player. Honestly I personally think going to Japan would be the best fit for him in 2 years. He would get on TV constantly to do golf exhibitions and they won't hate him their for it one bit, it would actually improve his image their hahaha. Anywho got sidetrackedI think Bale has the best situation going from a purely selfish perspective
1. He is a guaranteed pick for Wales. Maybe if he was French, German or Italian he might have to work harder to get in the team and force a move to play each week.
2. He is getting paid a huge amount of money to do minimal amounts of work, why would he want that to change?
3. He has already established he can say what he likes and won’t be forced by the club to do a thing (China move and Wales, Golf, Madrid flag)
Why would he move and risk having to work hard, adjust and fit into a new team? He could simply carry out his current contract and retire, or to play for Cardiff. Nothing in his actions shows me he has much desire left to achieve, or he could have gone to Bayern, PSG or a number of other wealthy clubs.
