Ballbag saying it's not being considered. Although that guy has been so badly wrong in the past it's hard to take him too seriously. Fits with confirmation bias though!

His deal with Adidas ends this year. Maybe Nike can take over that.
His salary owed over 2.5 years = £65 million.
Perspective : Ndombele transfer fee alone topped £60 million and his salary over 5 years is over £50 million.

I’d say 50/50 chance at present. Very complicated. Real will probably want a fee.
I know negotiations are clearly not as simple as this, but if Real are demanding a fee then why couldn't we trade them Eriksen as part of the deal? Could be win-win on all sides, but with the complications of negotiating two players at the same time it would hinge on far too many variables.

I think the Eriksen to Madrid ship has long sailed, hence why he's seemingly on his way to Inter.

One of the many things Bale brings to the table is the ability to smash one in from outside the box.

We currently have too few players on the pitch (especially with Kane out) who are willing and able to do that. Son on occassion, Ndombele when fit enough, but that's about it (Eriksen on odd occasion and he is leaving) What that means is the opposition can sit on the 16yrd line and stop all the intricate stuff.

Add Bale and the opponents fear the ranged shot and look to close down, that pulls players out of position and opens space for others. It's about having options, being unpredictable and Bale adds that.

Yes we have added directness to our play, but we are still relatively predictable in how we play and it's why we struggle to score.

Would of loved that, but it appears as though Real want Eriksen. Maybe we should tell Bale he can open up a bar at the new stadium as part of negotiations, I think he has one in Cardiff.

This is true. Bale cutting in from the right and pinging one in the top corner is a joy. We would also have a dead ball specialist in the ranks. Also......would be perfect for Jose's counter-attacking...Son and Bale flying up the pitch would be so nice.

Is he going to where the no.11 shirt, though? Isn't that part of his brand image etc?

Would have to convince Lamela to give up 11.

That guy lost any reputation he had when he said poch won’t be sacked.
Only to be sacked about 7 hours later

I have it sorted! Pay him the same as Kane and let RM subsidise his wages for an 18 month loan! They do this by us paying a loan fee that just happens to equal the amount needed by RM to do this. This neatly solves the problem of DL keeping his wage structure.
If only it was that easy
I like your thinking - would be a loan fee (for 18 months) of somewhere in the vicinity of 11.7m. Big loan fee that one, but probably worth it.

He can't until the summer, but 23, 14 and 9 are available. Both prestige numbers.
Ha! I can see it now - he signs with Jordan (Nike) a la Neymar and dons the 23 (assuming Eriksen fucks off beforehand). That would be something else.

Open a bar? With his wages we should be asking him to sponsor the stadium.
