I'm as pessimistic as many others with this but maybe we are underestimating the pull of Jose. He has made no effort in hiding how much he loves him and that is exactly what Bale needs at this point in his career following the shocking treatment he has received in Madrid. We must not forget what Bale said when he was appointed. He said he was a serial winner and it was a perfect match for winning trophies.

COME HOME GB!

They aren’t an issue. (y)
To confirm, I expect there are about 1 million issues with any potential deal. Just can't see how these would be an issue. (Just thought I'd clarify my cock-sureness).

Not my cock-soreness.
No-one wants to know about that.
Seriously.

Is he playing much this season at RM?

If not, a 4 month loan could boost his capital ahead of a summer transfer move (?)

It’s too complicated to do at this stage in the window. We should have started the process earlier!!
No one knows when or if we have been in contact about this deal, so might be further on than we expected. The ITK info doesn't mean we have only just started thinking about it.

I still think real will be annoying and fuck us about though

Think I said the same in the past window, but I'm not sure how much sense it makes... But it's Bale. I think so many of us have a great emotional attachment to his performances and energy that logic probably goes out the window a bit.

And I'm fine with that.

When he can, had injuries as usual. 2 goals 2 assists for the season. If people think they're getting back the Bale we sold, they could be disappointed.

Looks like he's missed as many games as he's played this season. Reckon he'd form an effective partnership with Kane

It’s sometimes a miracle how injuries can clear up when players move clubs. I’m sure he has been injured in the past, but how many of those injuries could he have played through had he been at a club that wants him and with him being fully motivated to play.

Looking at the info posted, he’s had one proper injury, the calf problems. Then missed one game with a vague thigh problem. The other absences have been due to “infection.”

I’m convinced that if he was happy and motivated he’d be injured far less.
He’s had a torrid time for 3/4 years now and that’s going to affect the mind and body.

Those saying he's 30 years old and injury prone like that's a reason not to sign him are talking about him like he's Andy Carroll.

This is Gareth fucking Bale. If you can get him, you do it. No questions asked.

Goodness me. There is no debate here, he's still one of the best players in world football. He's been in Madrid for too long. Under-appreciated, under-utilised. It's time for him to be adored by a fanbase that actually loves him. Not like those fickle fuckers in Madrid.

Gareth should take a long look at his football career and think about if he, as long as he is close to his prime, wants to achieve something in english football. A true challenge for himself to lift his breakthrough club to a long waited title. I am sure he can hold his living standards with 150-200k pw as well.

That said, it won't happen.
