Speaking about Isco - according to this ranking Gervinho is better than him. Really? I know who I'd rather have.

Raheem Sterling is a good player but he's ranked above some serious heavy weights. He's had good spells but he's not yet consistent enough to be above Higuain...

I know nothing about this guy but is Victor Enyeama of Lille better than Lloris? Is he that good and proven to be that good?

And speaking of bias. I see the United bias is strong. Lloris should not be 21 places behind De Gea. Of course we're biased on here, but I genuinely think he's the best keeper in this country. In fact, other than Neuer I can't think of a keeper I'd rather have.

That list is bullshit though. Nainggolan number 99? Do me a favour. Every Roma fan I know wants him to fuck off back to Cagliari. This list reads like something a list of who is the best on FIFA.

Mkhitarian is a great footballer. He's been very good for Dortmund, very creative, but he's a terrible finisher.

Dimitre Payet should be in the top 100.

gervinho's been great for roma, one of the best players in serie a last season. i agree on mkhitaryan though, i said at the time they should sign eriksen instead, obviously i'm glad they made the wrong choice now though

I think some people are misinterpreting it as 'who is the best player' rather than 'who has been best in 2014', so that for me easily explains why Sterling is ahead of Falcao.

But, and I don't want to come across as a moaning and bitter Spurs fan here, what the actual fuck have Ozil and Wilshere done in 2014 to be in that list? Yes Ozil was in the German world cup winning squad, but he was easily their worst player, and as for Wilshere...just no.

Will be interesting to see who is 2-11 behind Harry Kane at no.1

Why is Van Persie even on this list? Possibly the most worsened player of 2014, he had a terrible year under Moyes, one good game in the World Cup and has been average so far this season. Also Wayne Rooney very, very high and Wilshere shouldn't even be on the list

You're insane. It's not always about pace or stepovers, it's about being a killer, and he's the best there is at finding space and exploiting the weaknesses of his opponent.
