Not sure of the status of Colapinto or the Astons. I assume Williams abandoned Albon as too much work and/or needed a new chassis - so more hands to help with Colapinto's car.

I wonder if the teams will tweak the cost cap in future years - to carve out some exceptions for days like today (or really any late season crashes)

If the rain was so bad they needed the Safety car, why don't they make the teams swap to full wets? Makes the full wets pointless if teams refuse to use them but then call the track to wet to race.
