Is the BBC right here.... .44 laps and 3 pits for everyone for so far?

With just less than 30 laps to go, will it be another 2 pits?.... Shocking if it's due to tyres being poor

I turned the race off - but the Red Flag counted as 1 pit stop. So, really two, and likely one more

I turned it off also, forgot they came in for red flag and that it counted, makes it a little better I guess.
You really missed out ;). Epic battle between Alonso and Perez for the final podium place. Lot's of battles in the midfield as well... a good watch

That was a great photo finish. Good battle between Checo & Alonso. The Mercedes was so painfully slow this weekend. Logan is slowly but surely starting to get the hang of things in F1. Not nearly as bad as he was at first when he was like Latifi. Might even get a point at this rate. Fair play to him for getting it together a little, tbh. Wonder if he keeps the seat next year. His Williams is infinitely worse than Albon’s as they can’t give him the upgrades so that was probably a good result for him.

Just caught up with the highlights, that was a fun race. Norris looks so confident in that Mclaren, the improvement that car and Piastri have made as the season's gone on has been quite the journey too. There's more to come from Albon, probably one of the unluckiest drivers this year, but Alonso in that Aston - woof.

Alonso is a genuine racer and it was nice to see a proper clean battle between him and Checo, I bet they both enjoyed that regardless of who got the 0.053 gap in front as they crossed the line.

Lando is who Mercedes thought they were getting when they signed Russell. He's a great driver & it's good to see him doing well in the McLaren. Only driver who might be able to race Max atm.

Russell is in a tough spot though, in an under-performing Merc, as Lewis' teammate. I don't doubt that the 1950s film star that he is has a lot of talent and his time in a janky motor before he moved to Mercedes gave him experience that Lewis doesn't have in F1 until this year - I hope they sort that car out for next year though, would be good to see Red Bull, McLaren, Aston, Ferrari AND Mercedes battling it out.
