This is right.

Just looked at the team they put out in that final (with the subs bench). Lots of recognizable names from yesteryear that pop out like Nesta, Mihajlovic, Couto, Lombardo, Conceicao, De La Peña, Almeyda, Stankovic, Nedved, Mancini, Salas, Vieri.

I know but he didn't ask his question quick enough. :sneaky::sneaky:. Its all about keeping the interest:whistle::whistle::LOL::LOL:

He was waiting for his winners rating.

Anyway - John Terry. He was on the bench in the last game at Wembley.

Edit - I thought the question was the new and old Wembley :banghead:

I'd say Vieira. I can't recall Chelsea playing one at the Millenium Stadium. There's a chance Vieira played for for City at the new Wembley when they beat Stoke.

Correct young man

Looks like werty got it before me but I'll add a question anyway to keep this going!

Here's one I had a a pub quiz the other week:

Can you name 10 of the 15 (or all 15) English players that were listed in the top 100 players of the 20th century in the December 1999 issue of World Soccer?

Closest so far- 9 correct I think if I have counted correctly. 1 more for 10...

No Barnes, Shilton, Scholes or Heskey (shock). The most surprising one and it is one I answered at the quiz that didn't make the list is unbelievably Jimmy Greaves!

Stanley Matthews had to be in the list surely?

That makes 10 in total! Got it across a few of you!

12. Bobby Charlton
14. Bobby Moore
17. Stanley Matthews
32. Gordon Banks
36. Gary Lineker
44. Michael Owen - couldn't believe this one seeing as he broke through like 97/98, especially considering Greaves didn't make the list! Let alone being 44th...
46. Duncan Edwards
49. David Beckham
50. Tom Finney
56. Kevin Keegan
57. Paul Gascoigne
61. Glenn Hoddle
64. Alan Shearer
68. Dixie Dean
91. Bryan Robson

Not really sure who to "winner" as it was a combined effort - whoever gets here first I guess!
