Southend United relegated from League 2 to Conference. Been a football league club for as long as I can remember.

Wycombe and Southend contested the League 2 playoff final in 2015. Southend won, yet now Wycombe have played a season in the Championship (and aren't mathematically down yet) for the first time ever and Southend are in Non League for the first time since they joined the Football League in 1920.

Funny old game.

Peterborough got very lucky with that stoppage time penalty equaliser that saw them promoted to the Championship.
No way on earth it was a foul.
The lad has pirouetted to shield the ball and get a shot away, only to lose balance and fall into the defender.
I reckon the ref had some money on a draw!!!
If it had been in PL VAR would have overturned it instantly.

Genuinely one of the worst decisions I've ever seen. Up there with Stuart Atwells ghost goal.

You say that, but ...

Bruno Fernandes put United ahead from the spot after earning the penalty himself when going down under pressure from Ezri Konsa.

The United midfielder attempted a pirouette and ended up spinning into the Villa defender, catching Konsa on the ankle in the process.
