Rice and Keane ( especially ) are two of the worst players I’ve seen to feature regularly for England for a while. Keane is abysmal.

Behind the front three, England are very, very average. In some cases, below average!

That's a really poor half of football from England. Yet again another game where the centre of the park is a total vacuum. The cm2 have been awful, and ok he's on his debut but Mount looks totally lost as well. Without the ball we're just getting caught and easy to play through, and in wide areas we're just getting overloaded.

Surprised Keane and Rice get picked again in particular, neither look good enough in any aspect of the play.

So slow on the bear most the time, where as they are breaking with pace and passing forward! But agree it's midfield that's letting us down here.

I swear the commentators during Euro 2004 would call him Rositsky/Rosiksky and I along with everyone I know always called him that until he left Arsenal and I realised it's Rosicky.

Is this a false memory or does anyone else remember the commentators mispronouncing his name?
Wasn’t Pleaty by any chance was it??

All the big clubs withdraw their players for international breaks due to mysterious illnesses! We need to do more of that....oh wait

It's down to the player really, they usually really want to play for their national team.
Maybe old fergie would subtlety threaten their position in the squad if they didn't withdraw. Who knows really.
No chance of someone like lamela turning down Argentina though

He’s done well for West Ham but he’s a return to the dark days of English football. His type of player is what’s wrong with English football imo. Lumps who aren’t mobile enough at the top level who only ever look to go backwards and be physical.

Keane on the other hand is the single worst player I’ve ever seen represent England. He’s atrocious

And this is sadly another demonstration of why the club attempted to get Rose out of the door and get some value from him before it's too late. He just shuffles around the pitch gingerly these days and can barely sprint and has lost a lot of agility.
