So what do you think Southgate's team is currently? I think it's very close to being clear with 1 or 2 decisions

I reckon his team is

Pickford
Trent Stones/Mings Maguire Chillwell
Ox Hendo Winks
Sancho Kane Sterling

I think Sancho will get in because of how good Sterling is on the left blocking Rashford. The midfield dilemma is interesting I think we lack a truly great DM meaning that we will likely see Hendo and Winks therefore we are leaving some quality attacking midfielders on the bench in Dele/Maddison.

Too early to say. Injuries and end of season firm will come into it, but I'd be surprised if Rashford didn't start as things are now.

I just wonder if the fact that Sterling looks so good on the left means he might seem himself on the outside, as I type this Rashford has just scored with a great pass from Sterling

Southgate really likes Rashford and if he finishes the season well with United I think he'll probably start. From what I can remember Sterling has scored quite a few goals when Rashford has started.

Did the commentator really just say the Kosovans dug their own hole, after that goal? Crikey lol ?

At least Southgate has made England enjoyable to watch again.
All those so called top top managers (most of whom weren't even English) who churned out utter shit yet Southgate has them playing. Not much competition recently granted but we played against shite in the past and looked awful.
I must admit I was sceptical when he was appointed but he's doing a great job.
Just need a big sex scandal now in the summer so he's sacked lol.

Callum Hudson-Odoi so overrated by Chelsea and England

A poor mans Wilfried Zaha (who is nowhere near the finished article!)
No wonder the rumour is fat frank wants him, no doubt to replace CHO

And why do ITV have Roy Keane on there for an England match?
Sat there like someones shat in his drink or a funny smell under his nose.
Think they're intentionally getting him to sit and watch England to wind him up lol.

If Loftus Cheek comes back fit & healthy we could have a decent team

He’s a player just needs to sort his fitness and stamina out

Brilliant management Southgate flog Kane through another 90 mins of what ultimately is a pointless game...
I thought what he did was very reasonable (bearing in mind that Kane would play 90 every game if allowed). Southgate took him off after less than 60 minutes in the first match (when was the last time Poch did that?) and then tonight we had our pot seeding position on the line and needed a win, which wasn't assured until Kane made it so with only 10 minutes left.

Playing and scoring for England is probably doing a lot to keep his spirits high at the moment as well. Not to mention making sure he doesn't forget how to deal with getting service in the box.

4-0 flatters England a bit.

Yep, it wax a rancid performance, so bloody negative. Was like watching Spurs, no urgency, misplaced passes and over hit crosses. The only difference is England scored 3 late goals.

Is the future bright for England? Very difficult to say as unlike past tournaments we’re now loaded with attacking players but defensively, in particular in the centre back department we’re shocking.
