Not a bad first half. Finland have been really disciplined at the back and had a couple chances on the break.

But this feels a bit like a recent spurs game where you can't figure out how there isn't daylight between the sides. Should be well ahead. Saka and Gordon been decent and kane looks much more mobile and on it.

Much better football than in recent times but still a few square pegs and odd decisions. Is Grealish really a number 10? Someone like Eze, Gibbs-White or Maddison should be starting ahead of him in that position. He offers very little. Not sure if Gomes is quick and strong enough to stop counter attacks - by fouling if necessary.

Do we have any strikers in the whole of England to put in the squad? it's like an injured Shaw and no other left backs at the Euros! Weird decision. We no what Pickfor ccan and can't do. Why is he playing in these games? Is Rice really a high quality international midfielder? Discuss...

Gomes looks a proper player - tenacious, looks to play forward, comfortable on the turn. Keeps the play ticking over nicely. The perfect 6 in an Ange system
