No wonder the team’s play is tepid and pedestrian if that’s who/what they’re bringing in to gee the players up. Ed Sheeran is a terrific musician but it’s hardly music to get the blood pumping is it?!
Perhaps it works like a vaccine.

It's the irony for me, the bit they clipped was him singing "worst things in life come free to us" yep they didn't have to pay for that and it's pretty fucking grim

Also is he playing in front of a LEGO hogwarts, good to see what they've been doing instead of tactical work

Queensryche? Five Finger Death Punch or Disturbed would be better, but knowing Slowgate he'll hire Barry fucking Manillow next time!
Nah, they need Iron Maiden. Songs like Aces High (about the Battle for Britain), The Trooper (about the Charge of the Light Brigade), Where Eagles Dare (about raiding a German castle in WW2). That's the chutzpah this squad needs.

I know Nico would very happy to read this.

I'm not sure a formation change is really the answer.

The problem going forward is we don't pass and move as a team at all. He's not picking any of the dribblers. So we look very stagnant. The result is going forward we end up relying on a moment of brilliance or a set piece.

Just start Palmer.

Tree at the back…..Konsa familiar with that as he doesn’t have a left foot and I can’t recall him ever playing left of a three unless he’s going with Gomez who has actually played on the left.
Great time to experiment Gareth when you’ve had best part six months to formulate plan A, B and C.
You need someone at LWB who has got a left foot and is fit, unless he’s going to chuck Shaw in from the start.
Be interesting if he does and how he changes it after 15 minutes when he goes off injured….
