I do love nights like these on SC.
Bit strapped for cash at the mo but will chip in as soon as I can, donation wise.

Levy has been getting stick for Ramos and Santini but let's remember that he was taking advice - Kelmsley was responsible for Santini and Commolli for Ramos? Can't really remember if that's the right way round but at the time, they were both considered "top managers" and were seen as bright prospects with a successful career so far. I was happy with both appointments at first too!
It's not really Levy's fault that they turned out to be shit.
I'm pretty sure that he will have learnt from previous mistakes - he wouldn't have got to where he is, being that niaive - and he will have sought better advice this time.

I'm quite excited by it all and I'd come to the conclusion that our relationship with Harry had run it's course.
He never seems to leave a club on good terms does he?!

Oh and just a reminder that pablo's info was as accurate as you'd expect from a Sun journalist...

"in case you missed the post.

Harry is definitely not going any time soon"

Posted today :ROFLMAO:

I did say earlier, that rather than any of the ITK that he was off persuaded me the end was nigh. Good old Pablo. Never lets you down.

Levy has surely been planning the departure of Harry since the England job came up? I'm hoping he already has his man in place and he's so good that he got rid of Harry anyway.

Im sure kevin bond and joe jordan will go as they are gd freiends with harry. Dont think many others will follow!

Certainly a number of ex players in the coaching ranks with Sherwood, Allen and Ferdinand - but any new guy generally brings in their own backroom staff irrespective. Allen has probably been the most visible this season as often pitchside on matchday. Sherwood was supposedly being groomed, but cannot see this would ever work as would not have the pulling power or experience.

Kemsley lobbied for Harry too, owned/owns a racehorse with him and were best mates at the time.

I think Harry talked himself out of a job tbh, his comments while Levy was recovering from the death of his mum were unhelpful

What's Hiddink's position at the moment?

At this time at night he's probably laying down in bed.

Sorry mate, long day of rumours ends messing with my head. Off to bed to wake up with Blanc, Remy and Vertonghen at the Lane.

The recent ITK saying that Levy was using moneyball tactics, after getting bum information he's taking the bull by the horns and figuring it out his own way. I guess he's weighed up the stats and will take on the manager who's got the best win percentages based on the resources they've had, which would point to Moyes if he takes on a current Premiership manager.

I'd say the first sentence is true, but not the second.

I feel it was the right time for him to leave because I doubt he would ever have had the same dedication or enthusiasm for the job again. Plus we need to capitalise on the talent at the club right now by bringing in someone that could in theory be here for the long-term.

However whilst he may not have left the club on good terms with Levy, I'll always remember the brilliant moments he brought to the club, and will consider his time with us a success that reached its natural end.
