Just on Scotty P IIRC he's doing his badges with us, I actually wouldn't mind him staying i think we're a bit thin on leaders and i think he's good for the younger and youth players.

Is he on big wages?

Massive Wages

Bit of bugger that, i do agree with Redknapp in that you need a couple of players like him in the squad, he's been through the many phases a footballer goes through in his career and seems the approachable sort that a young player would talk to if he had issues rather than go to the management.

Shame to see him go, when he went back to West Ham when we played them last season i was amazed those morons booed him, i wish him the best wherever he ends up.

Still.....if he's getting the badges then think of him as a player/coach. Not the worst use of money.

If he wants to go and be more valuable elsewhere I completely wish him luck

But if he wants to stay then he still has a lot to offer this club.

I can see parker dropping down a division but not defoe.

I want defoe to stay tbh with you all.

He has an excellent attitude on him and will always give his all.

Just to confirm I understand loyalty payments having read 1000's of player contracts. And that's not exaggerating. It isn't as much as some think. Transfer request is more public statement

I'd go straight to Daws myself. Though Freund seems extremely approachable.

Parker turned out just like Freund - played hard gave everything, but didnt score a single goal.

Didn't he score in the Europa via a deflection? Maybe that was on own goal I'm thinking of...and maybe it was Holtby.

Parker scored on his debut for our U21 side. :)

Close. He had a gaping net but hit it off of Holtby's studs as he was lying in front of the goal.

It's a valid point about having people like Parker around, with that tenacity and will to win. But now we have a few of those people, who also have incredible skill, so he doesn't stand out in that way any more. I mean Dembele ran himself into the ground game after game, Sandro much the same and Pauliniho seems similar. Don't get me wrong, I love SP and th fight he has, and what he brought to the team. Just now, we have a lot of what he brought and then some.

Also, if Parker is set to join QPR it's got to mean Capoue is indeed coming here.

Hopefully we don't get Caulker'd.
