Every time someone criticises Parker, it's like the military in here:

'Colonel Parker has offered fine service during his tour or duty, his commitment & loyalty to the greater needs of the battalion have been first class and his attitude has been impeccable. Some of you younger soldiers could learn a thing or two from watching him, I can tell you. Colonel Parker?'
'Sir! Yes, sir!'
'We are unfortunately going to have to discharge you. Cutbacks you see. We are aiming to replace you with a soldier from South America... Not my idea I can tell you but it's all about costs these days. I believe the Queens Park Rangers unit may offer you a comfortable retirement and ease you back to civvy street. At ease soldier!'
'Sir!'

I think I'm going to be court-martialed.

Things I shall miss about Scott Parker:
1) His duracell bunny tenacity
2) His ability to withstand getting kicked, hit and suffering violence upon his person
3) His flawless wing-commander hair.

'Sir, one question if I may Sir.'

'Yes Colonel Parker. Permission to speak.'

'I want what's best for Tottenham Hotspur Football Club Sir, I can only assume you have a superior officer lined up to take charge of this battalion. For that, I'm happy and will move on.'

'Well yes Colonel, although due to other cutbacks to our vehicles, we are turning Private Huddlestone into a tank and will have Livermore ride his back. Combining these soldiers will have no detrimental effect and we feel we may get more use out of both of them. Efforts must be doubled.'

I like all this military speak, owing to the fact that if you look carefully, you'll see that Scott Parker is actually Captain America.

Perhaps he should be sold to the MLS...

Scotty is too old and English for a bunch of armchair experts that just recently got pubes, I'd rather we got a striker before we start flogging the only players with a bit of fucking backbone about them. There are far bigger issues in our midfield than Scott Parker, the lack of creativity being the fucking big, massive, stinking elephant in the room.

Still waiting on the Berbatov replacement, is Modric getting added to the list of players we fail to adequately replace and subsequently handicap the club before the season's even started again? It's like self fucking sabotage.

We've heard he was meeting Sherwood this week. Sounds like it's still on, just taking a little time (SO unusual for us!). Be patient!

I really hope he comes in and gets started with the transfer.... though some WUM mentioned he had his hands over Guarin deal...

Anyway, its getting a bit slow....

That lack of creativity you mention is largely down to Parkers poor choice of passing and general lack of awareness
